Loraine noticed a pattern, where Erastus would come out to fish whenever the Zellweger family had a fight. Erastus would spend hours and hours alone.

Therefore, she came to a conclusion that his emotions would only be affected by his family members.

She deliberately brought up Eddison, Caroline, and their baby, who had yet to arrive in this world. She even emphasized that they were a family and that this household would not include Zorion, Vanessa, and him as well.

She was anticipating his reaction.

As expected, Erastus not only opened his eyes but he also turned around to look at her.

Pretending to panic, she covered her mouth with her palms and asked, "Did I say something wrong?"
