"She's alright. We hired an art teacher for her, so if she can't even paint that, then it would be embarrassing."

"Well, some people just aren't as gifted. Even with a teacher, they might not produce anything worth looking at. Plus, with young people being the way they are nowadays, who has the patience to study art? Your daughter-in-law is truly exceptional."
