Chapter 5: Day One
together they went to class once in the music room they sat side by side
"oh look its goth girl with a new boy toy." laughed a brunett with green eyes she wore a cheerleader uniform with the school mascit printed across the chest the mascot was a Blood red dragon. The girls name was Amber she was the most popular girl in school she was pretty, rich, and most likely would become someone famous. Flame rolled her eyes and was about to retort when someone cut in.
"Oh look its a barbie Doll slut whats the matter rich girl no boy toys to play with right now?"
it was Viper she was Flames best - only - friend she was wearing black clothes with green neon ribbons along the side of her jeans wearing a lot of snake accessories her earings were snakes that wrapped her ears her necklace looked like a snake draped around her neck lacing its tail and head around each end a cobra ring with ruby red eyes and a bracelet that was a silver snake whos head rested on her hand and circled her wrist her hair was a wild mess like she was trying to mimic Medusa's snake hair
Amber looked unhappy and unable to come up with a response 1walked away to her own seat with the other popular kids.
"Hey my best girl whos this hot hunk sitting next to you?"
"Viper meet Fang, Fang meet Viper she is my best friend"
he extended his hand "hi nice to meet you"
"oh a gentleman" she looked at Flame "can i have him?"
before Flame could say anything Fang responed "sorry i cant be owned."
"ahh funny to. oh Flame did you do that project that we had to do durring summer"
"yep I'm done with it im hoping Ms. Cooley likes it enough."
" Don't tell me you want to perform it at the year end recital?"
"yeah i kinda do"
"the what?" Fang looked confused.
"its this thing the shool has at the end of the year where students can perform their talents that they prepare for all year its a pretty big deal usually me and Flame skip the ordeal but i guess thats about to change."
" Sounds cool so what are you going to do?" he asked Flame
"well i plan on singing if i can get a band together."
"Well you already got someone on keyboard right here" Viper lifted her hand pointing to herself..
"If you dont mind i could do either drums or the guitar" Fang looked at Flame inquiringly
"sweet you guys are the best" Flame smiled brightly Fang watched her as she smiled and felt his heart leap in his chest his love for her crashing against his ribcage like a tidal wave crashing down on the beach he was tempted to kiss her full and luscious lips that he knew under the black lipstick was pink and soft but he held himself back for she didn't remember him and he didnt want to force himself onto her he knew he had to wait till her memory was back till she remembered him and to make sure she still loved him. and it was exhausting trying to pretend he didn't know viper.
