Write a reviewThe name of the novel was already enough to attract my attention let alone the synopsis. I really liked the background description. I am more of a person who reads romance based on modern times so this was a complete new story for it and I really enjoyed it.
I love how different this story is, I expected one thing from the cover but got something else entirely but in a good way. There is a lot going on in this story and it makes you feel for the characters, it is a really engaging read. I have to mention though, that cover is absolutely stunning!! I love it.
A very interesting story! It starts off very emotional, highlighting the MC's characteristics. The world, characters and plot are very interesting. It is truly a breath of fresh air. The author has done a good job with the story! Well done and continue on!

This story's ambiance is quite on the dark side, being that the agitation that Kristie is feeling from the injustice that her land is suffering from is showing through your writing. Although her intentions are heroic, she comes off as a reckless young lady. However, her bravery is phenomenal and in the right direction. I've read some snippets of Philippines History, and this made reminisce of when the Japanese attempted to colonize the Philippines. It was quite a distressing time for the Filipinos. Hence, for me, KC's courage shone a lot more as she sought to fight the adversities threatening the peace You portrayed the romance here in a manner that's not at all similar to the mystical feeling of love, but a love that's painful and started off from the wrong foot. I was expecting her to be a tad more mad to Zedd for assaulting her. It's just, in how I saw it, Kirstie recovered from it too fast. Although, I really have no qualms in their relationship that turned cordial. The light hearted conversations in between them is a good break from the reality of the situation. In the event that Aaliyah follows that german's order, I don't think I can blame her for pursuing poisoning Kirstie. All in all, the germans, except for Zed, are aholes, and the Filipinos (oh dear Reuel, please exercise more) are the ones who will do anything that they could, despite their disadvantages, just to drive out the Germans. I adore that you don't skimp out on the descriptions and the progressions. Every little narration of movements is important for a better transition in the story-telling. I have a hunch that you could do a more phenomenal work in describing sceneries and visuals. I just noticed some incorrect verb tenses, questionable word choices, and misuse/absence of punctuation marks. I pointed these out to let you know that your work could even look more neat. :> The story in itself is very immersive. Though, I do have a suggestion. Portray the emotions in a visual and deeper way. One that could explain the degree of the emotions felt by a character. All in all, this story is a breath of fresh air, very well-written with a rarely used theme. Rest assure that you're a good writer! I'll be supporting you! (I'm sorry if the review is not good enough :<)
