Chapter 8: spare them

"We owe you," the older princess said, sounding sincere. "You showing mercy means a lot."
Mosa, holding his younger sister, looked at them thoughtfully. "You made wrong choices, but admitting your mistakes shows character. You can make things right."
The younger princess stepped closer, almost teary-eyed. "We'll spend our lives proving our loyalty. We can't repay you enough."
King Uranus softened as he looked at the sisters. "This is your chance to change your lives. Not everyone gets a second chance. Also, call your older sister back from the border. She didn't come back when you woke up. In three days, your crowning ceremony begins."
King Uranus knew it was time for his son to be king. He could focus on his own passions and dreams. When he had that magical elixir, his body changed into middleage men with muscluar body. He wanted to find the limits of human strength. Now, his son was ready to be king, and he could follow his dreams without the weight of ruling.
