Chapter 5: kill kill

[On the Other Side]

Various assassin teams were arriving at Uranus Poseidon Port, their primary objective being the elimination of the crown prince. The moonlight bathed the port in an eerie glow as the assassins stealthily approached their target's location.

Their movements were swift, almost as if they were shadows in the night. Clad in dark attire, they moved with calculated precision. These were no ordinary assassins; they were highly trained, each with their own unique set of skills.

As they closed in on their target, they split into smaller groups to encircle the area where the crown prince was believed to be. They communicated through subtle hand signals, their teamwork impeccable.

One of the assassins, known for his expertise in silent kills, climbed a nearby structure, positioning himself for a perfect vantage point. He carefully aimed his crossbow, ready to take down the crown prince with a single shot.

Meanwhile, another assassin, known for his agility and speed, darted between crates and barrels, approaching the crown prince's supposed location. His plan was to strike swiftly and vanish into the darkness before anyone could react.

Just as the crossbow-wielding assassin was about to release his bolt, a sudden gust of wind rustled the leaves. In that split second, he hesitated, his shot going slightly off target. The bolt grazed a wall, alerting the crown prince to the danger.

Mosa and his soldiers were already on high alert due to the recent events. They swiftly responded to the threat, converging on the assassins with deadly intent.

"You're a persistent bunch, I'll give you that," Mosa's voice resonated with an air of calm confidence.

The agility-focused assassin lunged at Mosa, striking with lightning-fast kicks and punches. Mosa dodged each attack with almost preternatural grace, his movements fluid and precise.

"Impressive," Mosa remarked, his voice tinged with amusement.

The crossbow assassin took aim again, this time firing multiple bolts in rapid succession. Mosa's soldiers formed a protective barrier around him, their shields intercepting the projectiles.

Mosa's eyes glinted with determination as he faced the assassins. In a flash of movement, he closed the distance between himself and the agility-focused assassin. With a powerful strike, he incapacitated the assassin, rendering him unable to continue.

The crossbow assassin tried to reload for another shot, but before he could even pull the trigger, Mosa was upon him. With a grip like iron, Mosa seized the assassin's wrist, his strength overwhelming. The crossbow clattered to the ground as the assassin's eyes widened in realization.

"You've chosen the wrong target," Mosa's voice was unwavering.

In a display of strength that defied human limits, Mosa crushed the assassin's hand like a fragile twig. The assassin's agonized screams filled the air, echoing the futile struggle against Mosa's immense power.

One by one, the remaining assassins met similar fates. Mosa and his soldiers moved as a unified force, each strike precise and calculated. The assassins' fighting styles, once formidable, were no match for the overwhelming might that Mosa possessed.

As the last echoes of battle faded, the port returned to a tense silence. The assassin teams had been wiped out, their threat neutralized with ruthless efficiency. Mosa and his soldiers stood among the fallen bodies, their breaths steady, their victory undeniable.

[Uranus Capital]

King Uranus's disappearance had thrown the capital into chaos. The uncertainty fueled the ambitions of the power-hungry factions within the kingdom. Greedy parties saw this as their moment to seize control, capitalizing on the king's absence.

They scurried like rats, visiting various parties and alliances under the shroud of darkness. Whispers of conspiracy echoed through the halls as these factions plotted and schemed.

"What do we do now?" A voice dripped with anticipation and greed.

"King Uranus's absence has left a void, and we must fill it before anyone else does," another voice responded, equally eager.

The situation was ripe for manipulation, a perfect storm of uncertainty and ambition. The capital's fate hung in the balance as these factions vied for power, their actions intertwining with the events that had unfolded on Snake Island.
