Chapter 81: A Forced Deal
Xyler held up his hand toward the endangered Kai.
"Ke."
Zero had no idea what Xyler had even spoken before Kai was yanked away from the beast and his back pressed into Xyler's outstretched palm.
"Huh? What?" Kai blinked several times as he realized that he was no longer facing the monster head on and was now beside Zero and Xyler. "What just happened??"
Xyler held out his other palm toward Grimm who was situated further back awaiting Zero's command. "Ke." Just like with Kai, the beast was plucked from where he was standing over to them as if Xyler had some type of magnetic pull on him.
"I...don't actually know." Zero said just as confused.
The Excavator turned his attention on the group and darted straight for them with its mouth wide open to consume them all at once.
"Well, got any more tricks?!" Kai asked.
Xyler now held his palm toward the sky. "Ozî."
