It didn't take long at all for the group to reach the house they had once called their base. Upon seeing the medium sized home, the pressure they felt from this whole meeting rose up another notch. Julie was by now visibly uncomfortable and sweating. The other elders also had grim looks on their faces as they all took weary looks at the house as if the devil was waiting for them inside. In reality, for a bunch of second rate vampires, they should have all been happy that their real lord had returned from his mission. However they were not. They were rather scared. Things had changed in Vitorio's absence and him being an old timer meant he was sure to take offense at their orchestrated changes. Someone like Vitorio shouldn't be provoked under any circumstances. It just wasn't worth it.
