Seems that's all the skills I currently have at level 1. Honestly I was expecting more. But then again I'm only level one.
"These skills are amazing!" Hel says looking over the status with excitment. "The other gods would be so jealous!"
"Well best not to make them jealous or they might start try to cause some problems." I say with a frown.
"There are quite a few protections around this place. Even if people tried to cause trouble they would struggle, plus they can't really do anything to me unless they feel like dying, even gods avoid me because of my pure divinity. Not to mention my father being Odin." She says proudly.
"Oh? Your father is Odin?" I ask curiously as I zap the status papers into ash.
"Yep, he sends me magic books and grimoire from time to time for me to study." She says happily. "My sister Loki doesn't talk to him much."
Sister Loki? I thought Hel was the daughter of Loki, must be different in this world I guess.
"Nice do you two get along?" I ask the goddess. "Also is there some way to lock my status so others can't see it?"
"There is give me a second." She says pressing on my back a bit. "There, and we are okay I suppose she doesn't really come to visit me much as she is busy."
"I see, well no worries. Anyway I need to go fetch my clothes and stuff from my inn room. Don't want my things getting stolen." I tell her.
"Okay! I'll go make sure the room is clean!" She says with a happy smile. "And thank you for becoming my familia member, it was rather lonely being by myself all the time."
I just smile before putting on my shirt and sworld holder before grabbing my blade. "It's my pleasure."
However he doesn't notice a familiar look of obsession from the woman in question. A crazed look Syr often wore when he wasn't paying attention.
"Ehehe, my own familia member. Mine. All mine. I won't let anyone take him from me." She says with a crazed smile before going off to clean the spare room for her new member with a happy but insane smile on her face.
Meanwhile Ryan grabbed his clothes and weapon cleaning kits from his inn room and checked out before heading back to Hel's house.
Hel met him at the door with an eager smile on her face.
"Your room is clean, just follow me." Hel says leading me into the house.
The room was nice and big, there was a desk, a couple of empty bookshelves, a walk in closet, a large comfortable looking bed, a window was open to let in some fresh air and light. There were a couple of glowing lamps which lit up the room nicely. Everything was black with a nice emerald green trim, the curtains, bed, rug, even the furniture and none of it looked cheap.
"It looks very nice." I admit setting my bags down and pulling out my clothes to hang in the closet. I set my cleaning tools on the desk along with my sword.
"Do you need anything else?" Hel asks with some worry.
"Actually about the only thing I need now is a workshop to repair my weapons and take care of my equipment. A place I could put a small forge and some other tools." I tell her.
"I have a cellar that is empty would that work?" she asks.
"It should be fine. Some of my gear requires ammunition I have to personally make and I don't think I should do it in such a nice room." I admit. "I still have to buy the tools and items to make them though so I have to save up some money."
"Well you can have the cellar for your workshop. I don't use it for anything." Hel says happy to help her captain.
"Thank you."
"Sorry, I don't have much money though, I don't really work. All this stuff was given to me by my dad and Loki." She says sheepishly.
"Huh, that's fine I can make money. Just have a place to come home to is good enough for me." I tell the goddess. "I have a little bit of money I earned from the dungeon so far."
"Oh we can keep your money in the safe. That way you don't have to carry it around with you and it will be safe from thieves." She says.
"Sure, it isnt much though." I reach into my pouch and pull out a couple thousand vali and hand it to the goddess. I keep a bit for my snacks on the way to the dungeon, usually i pick up some food from the stalls and then fill up my water canteen before entering the dungeon.
