"I… don't know." I said and she raised a brow. I couldn't recall if I ever asked myself that question, but at the moment, I was. Did I like Lucas as more than a friend? Or did I just feel too free around him?

One thing I knew was that I liked him than I ever liked all my friends, and at the moment, I liked him more than I liked John.

"I don't know if I like him that way, but if I do, and do not know about it yet, then I'll try my best to stop it. I know it's not right." I said, fiddling with my fingers, hoping that saving her life accidentally would be enough to make her take my side.
