JOHN'S POV.

The sun shone into my room, lighting the whole place, and I turned on my bed, giving a loud yawn. Ever since the plan sweet Darcy had given me, I had been a little optimistic, and giddy towards the outcome.

A knock.

"Come in." I said, and Katie walked in.

"I'm here." She said. I had called for her early in the morning, but didn't know she'd come quickly.

"What time did I call you?"

"Around seven-thirty."

"Oh, it's some minutes after eight." I said, looking at the clock. "Well, let's leave that aside. I want you to search for beach houses near Olive High School. The prices, and how much it would cost for like three days." I said, leaning against the headboard.

"Right now?" She asked, and I nodded.

"Take your seat. I want the report now."

She looked around briefly, before settling into a sofa, and began to tap away at her phone. I watched her.
