Chapter 45: Tornado Of Lies!

'I have to find the truth about her myself.'

Ronan had already acknowledged that the woman inside the flower shop would definitely have him with curiosity.

Thus, he preferred to go alone on the front field, while the rest of the army stayed behind...disguised and scattered throughout the street.

'I will pray for your life, you fool woman! Who told you to go for such a dangerous task?'

Meanwhile Ronan had crept out of the car, Niall who was standing nearby the bakery closed his eyes and muttered whatever prayer he could remember.

Of course, he knew that it was not a question to ask but the utmost possibility, that his master would wash away the shop with a blood bath.

The right hand man could not comprehend what to do because it was solely his assumption, that his master came back urgently because of that woman.

He wanted to stop his boss but also valued his own life, the fate of the people working in the flower shop had already been written

'Oh my God! Bless those innocent people in there.'

Niall glanced at his master by peeking through one eye and uttered under his breath.

Without looking around for any suspicion or lurking danger around him, Ronan Ross strode towards the flower shop.

"Huh? Who is going to accompany you for a horror film!?"

Niall scoffed after seeing the signal from his cold master, and remarked immediately regarding the approaching ruthless act.

'Let's see what tricks you are hiding up in the sleeves, after having the face of my Amaris!'

With the bursting thoughts, Ronan Ross walked inside the flower shop.

As soon as he pushed the door, the pungent fragrance of various flowers filled his nostrils with a soothing sensation.

The cold iceberg walked upto the cash counter, and analysed the surroundings when his eyes landed on the bunch of purple hyacinths.

Unknowingly Ronan Ross stretched his hand out of the pocket and attempted to touch the small petals.

His eyes flickered with a past memory which was brought up from the closet of some old room, where the young mafia master used to visit in his mind and heart.

[A past memory]

Ronan walked into the lounge with a bouquet of fresh Crysanthemum flowers. Wearing a naughty smirk on his lips, the devilishly handsome man approached his wife.

"Booh!"

Amaris was occupied with the task of cleaning the lounge, when Ronan startled her from behind. The loveable woman nearly jumped in her place and smacked on his toned muscular chest with a pout.

"Huh! You nearly gave me a mini heart attack, you bad boy!"

Amaris faked an angry expression, while Ronan Ross hugged her immediately and placed a peck on her rosy cheek.

"Haha, only your bad hungry wolf!"

His raspy breath brushed her face that Amaris felt her ears fuming hot with shyness.

Amaris struggled to break free from his embrace and pushed Ronan Ross gently, while the man shoved the bouquet of flowers in front of her face.

"Here, for my love!"

"Pfft! Thank you dear husband. These are wonderful with fresh fragrance."

Amaris sniffed and then inhaled the scent, knowing that her husband brought her favourite flowers intentionally to liven up her mood.

"I will place them with the ones, I brought today."

Amaris took the flowers and one by one gradually plucked out of the decorative covering of the bouquet.

The lady crouched down on the ground and began placing the long stems in the vase, which was already filled with purplish white hyacinth flowers.

"Why these? I mean these are the symbol of despair and...and sadness. Are you feeling discomfort while living here with me, Amaris?"

Ronan's eyes filled with disappointment, having multiple questions humming and buzzing in his mind. Although, he was aware of the cause that Amaris was unhappy because of the truth about her father.

"Aye! It is not like that Ronan, I'm very happy living here and...you are good to me. How can I not be happy having you as my husband, huh?"

Amaris chuckled softly then sighed, she did not want to show Ronan that the association of her father to mafia world had made her uncomfortable.

The lady was completely unaware of what was awaiting to be disclosed. Something which would turn her life upside down, stuck by a tornado of lies.

What if Ronan Ross had acknowledged that fact to narrate the truth about himself to his woman. Maybe the lady would not have left him alone, maybe that's how he would not have reached to the current state.

Amaris' death had forced him to shun himself from the word 'happiness'. Ronan Ross, once the naughty and chatty man had transformed into a cold iceberg, an embodiment of 'lifeless soul'.

Maybe a zombie!
