October had arrived, and Wyatt Wright had yet to return.
On October 7th, the trial for Harper Bennett's murder case commenced at the Osla People's Court.
The prosecutor accused the defendant, Alumna Palmer, of intentional homicide.
In response to the prosecutor's charge of intentional homicide, the defense attorney raised objections and submitted a video to the judge showing Alumna Palmer drinking on the night of the incident, claiming the defendant caused death by accident due to intoxication.
The prosecutor summoned witness Poppy Long to testify, and Poppy Long candidly confessed to conspiring to fabricate an alibi for the defendant, Alumna Palmer, on the day in question.
"What was the defendant's condition when she found you compared to usual?"
Poppy Long said, "She looked very panicked and scared."
The prosecutor asked again, "Did you know she had been drinking?"
"I didn't know."
"So, you're saying she didn't appear to be drunk?"
