In the evening, Wyatt Wright conducted a video conference in his room.

Rae Bennett was writing invitations in the living room. After having the air conditioning on for too long, she felt uncomfortable, so she opened the balcony door and windows for ventilation and moved the pedestal fan over, plugging it in to blow air on herself.

As she wrote, she was bitten by a mosquito and bent down to scratch the bite.

Wyatt came out.

"Are you done with the meeting?"

"Mhm."

Wyatt took the ointment from atop the TV cabinet, pulled out a chair, and sat down.

"Put your foot up here."

Rae placed her foot on Wyatt's lap.

She wasn't particularly prone to mosquito bites, but one bite, if she didn't scratch, was okay—once she scratched, it would swell up fiercely.

Wyatt dipped a cotton swab in ointment and applied it to the area she had scratched red, spreading it gently in circles.
