On the journey home, the car traveled very slowly.

Rae Bennett dozed off in the passenger seat, her head bobbing up and down like a pecking chick.

Wyatt Wright glanced over at her a few times, "Sleepy?"

"Sleepy."

"If you're sleepy, go to sleep," Wyatt suggested as he turned up the car's heater a bit.

"I won't sleep." Rae's eyes were brimming with tears of drowsiness, "A lion's world is always fraught with danger—from other lions. In the bushes outside, two nomad lions are lurking, ready to snatch the territory and take over the pride..."

Gradually, she closed her eyes and fell silent.

The half-hour drive took Wyatt nearly fifty minutes, and by the time they arrived at Star Delight Mansion, it was late at night.

Wyatt parked the car and killed the engine, but Rae continued to sleep.

"Rae Bennett."

She didn't wake up.

Wyatt sat in the car for about a quarter of an hour, quietly sitting and occasionally looking at her.
