Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Wishes
Night fell, the pink-haired boy was in his bed resting, or at least trying to, it was a difficult day to digest. Lying in a bed that wasn't his, in a house that wasn't his either, in fact, before being summoned, Itadori already felt a little out of place, a lot had happened in such a short time.
The boy remembered Jumpei, Nanami, Kugisaki again, none of them had a dignified death, they died like nobody else, like nothing, suddenly. - "This Holy Grail....can it grant wishes?" -he spoke to himself.
Various types of thoughts flew through his mind, he could wish Sukuna had never existed or even the curses themselves, all his friends would be fine, no one would get hurt or even die because of them, but one specific thought came into his mind. - 'A dignified death' - thought Itadori.
The boy got up from the bed and left the room, he needed to clear out, walking around that huge place, Itadori realized how big the mansion he was in was. 'They must be very rich...' - Itadori thought.
He looked at the window, it was dark and snowing heavily. - "Where am I?" -he realized that perhaps he was not in his home country. - "In Germany." - said Irisviel.
The boy noticed the presence of his master and her daughter. - "Hello, eh....what should I call you? Master?" - Itadori said, a little nervous. - "Just from Irisviel, it's great." Irisviel says smiling.
"Hello, Uncle Yuuji." - Said little and sleepy Illya. - 'She's a copy of her mother...' Itadori thought. - "Hello, Illya-sama!." - he said in a joking tone. - "What are you doing up so late, Itadori?" Irisviel asked.
The boy seemed nervous and Irisviel noticed it. - "I'm just thinking about some things... that's all and you? What are you doing wake up so late?" - Itadori said. - "Illya woke up thirsty, so we went to drink water."
Irisviel looks at Illya and says. - "You know how to go to your room alone, right?" "Of course Mommy!" -she says a little sullenly. "Goodbye." Says the little girl sleepily.
"Are you worried about something? As your Master I need to know!" - said Irisviel - "It's nothing..." - realizing that this conversation wasn't going anywhere, she would have to bring up something herself. - "What was this Sukuna guy lookslike?"
Itadori looked a little surprised, but seeing that he had nowhere to run, he just accepted his fate and spoke. -"Well... Sukuna had about four arms, about 2 meters tall, some black marks on his body and his hair color was pink. That's how he was." - he said trying to avoid the subject. - "Hm...." - Irisviel seemed thoughtful, it didn't take long for the two of them to run out of things to talk about, Irisviel just waved at Itadori and went to sleep.
The next morning
Itadori was a heavy sleeper, not just anyone could wake him up, a voice in the background gradually emerged. "Yuji" someone calls him. "YUJI!" His tone of voice increased. "UNCLE YUUUJI WAKE UP!" - Itadori wakes up as if someone had punched him in the stomach, the boy realizes that it was actually Illya who literally stepped on him to wake him up. - "I-Illya-Sama!?! What happened?!!."
"You can't sleep forever! Mommy said to wake you up!" - She says jokingly. - "Okay, s-just don't wake me up like that." Says Itadori.
Leaving the room, Itadori goes to the room where he was interrogated, when he slowly opens the door he sees a figure with golden hair in a blue dress, it was that Saber, a somewhat strange "name", but Itadori didn't even question it. The boy was going to talk to her, but something stopped him, he just observed her, stared at her and noticed something, she was beautiful.
Saber's strange expression looking out the window, as if she was rambling about various things, about unresolved matters, Itadori even without saying anything could already understand that about Saber.
Of course he was embarrassed by the woman who was probably much older than him, but he couldn't help but notice her beautiful appearance. - 'When I saw her, she looked so serious and scary, but seeing it like this, she looked sad.' - After so much thinking, Itadori finally acted. - "Good morning, Saber!" - said Itadori in a somewhat excited way
Saber turns to Itadori - "Good morning, Yuji Itadori." - a question ran through the boy's mind, he needed to ask. - "Sorry to ask...but is your name really Saber? I don't know any legend with that name." - Itadori spoke honestly.
Saber thought about laughing at Yuji's innocence but decided to maintain her composure. - "No, I'm from the Saber class, in a war, we use our class names so that no other servant or master knows our true names, because if they find out, they will know our weaknesses.
Itadori understood. - "Since I'm a servant of the future, they won't know my weakness, so it's no problem for me. - he said with his hand on the back of his head. - "Yes, but it's always good to use the name of your class in battle, you say If you are a sorcerer, you are probably a Caster. - Said Saber.
"So...what's your name?" - Itadori asked. - Arturia, Arturia Pendragon - before Itadori says anything, the boy is interrupted by Irisviel. -In other words, known in legend as King Arthur."
Itadori is perplexed. - "K-King Arthur?! from those old stories?! I thought he was a man." - Arturia looks at Itadori with a small frown. Realizing that he spoke nonsense, the boy tried to justify himself and Irisviel just laughed at the embarrassing situation that Itadori got himself into.
After a while, Saber looked back at the window and Itadori was next to her, Irisviel was drinking her tea.
Kiritsugu and Illya were outside playing, - "Unfair! Unfair, unfair, unfair! Kiritsugu, you're cheating!" - Illya said angrily. - "Sorry, that was the only way I found to beat her." - said Kiritsugu.
"If you keep cheating, I'll never play with you again, only with Uncle Yuuuuji." Illya said sullenly with her arms crossed. - "I don't want this to happen! I'm sorry." - said Kiritsugu. - "promise you won't cheat again?" - Said Illya. - "I promise."
"Alright, like a champion, I accept your apology!" - Illya said, filling with pride. - "Okay, Hime-sama!" - after making his daughter proud, Kiritsugu puts her on his lap. - "High! High!"
Saber and Itadori were watching the two having fun, Irisviel arrives with a tea set. - "What are you two seeing there?" Irisviel said. - "We were watching your daughter and Kiritsugu playing in the woods." - Said Saber while Irisviel approached the two. "Were you surprised?" - Irisviel asked.
"I had an impression that my master was a cold and calculating man." - Saber said. - "It seems that I also had the wrong impression of him..." - said Itadori, disappointed with himself. 'If your true goal is to save the world, Kiritsugu, I will help you!' - thought Itadori.
"I don't blame you for thinking that way." - Irisviel said, returning to the tea set. - "I fear he may be disappointed in being my master." - Said Saber. - "Why do you say that, Saber?" - asked Itadori. - "Because I'm a woman." The boy is surprised.
Irisviel sits down after serving her tea. "I understand... we were just surprised, that's all. But he wouldn't think that way, he's disappointed, just about something else." "Another thing?" - the two servants said the same thing.
Irisviel began to stir the tea "Maybe he was enraged by the people around you, forcing a girl to become king so early." Itadori has heard about King Arthur, but has never researched his history in depth.
"I accepted my fate when I took out that sword, if I went back in time, I would take out that sword again." -Saber said, Itadori also accepted his fate when he ate Sukuna's finger, it was a path of no return. - "I understand you Saber, when my colleagues were in danger, the only thing I could do was eat that damn finger to save them and stop to think, if I went back in time, that was something I wouldn't change." - said Itadori, Saber looked a little curious at the boy.
"That's what made Kiritsugu so upset, you guys accepted your fates without question, more than anything." - Said Irisviel. - "He has no right to the choices I made in my era." Everyone stays silent.
"You and Kiritsugu wish to use the power of the Holy Grail... to save the world, correct?" - Saber says looking sideways at Irisviel. - "Yes, Kiritsugu and I share the same desire."
"I would use the Holy Grail for this very purpose. I wish to save Britain, my homeland, which I was unable to protect alone. I believe you are fighting for a noble cause, you should be proud of that." - Saber said. - "It's true, I will help you all win this war!" Itadori speaks very excitedly.
"And you Itadori, what will be your wish?" - Said Irisviel, Saber was curious to know more about the boy and waited for him to answer the question. "To be honest, I'm still thinking about it, for now I'll refrain from that question..."
Kiritsugu and Illya were heading home. - "Our next game will be when you return from Japan, right?" The little girl with white hair asked. - "That's right..." - said Kiritsugu. - "how long will you be gone?" - Illya said a little sad. - "A couple of weeks. But Mom won't be back for a while."
"Yes, mom already told me that, she's going to be gone for a looong time, but she told me not to worry because she'll always be close to me!" - said the smiling girl, Kiritsugu stopped moving and took Illya off his lap.
Illya turned to her father and saw him expression change, Kiritsugu hugged her and said. - "Illya, can you wait for me? Until Daddy returns, can you wait even when you feel alone?" "Yes!" - said the little girl. - "I'll be back home before you know it..."
After returning, Kiritsugu told him about what they were going to do, the war was going to happen in Fuyuki, Japan, Itadori was anxious to return to his country, but before... - "Have you never worn a suit, Itadori?" - Irisviel said. - "I've worn it on certain occasions, but... I'm not someone who wears suits, you know?" - Itadori said a little uncomfortably. - 'Man, that scar in the middle of my face really bothers me.' thought the boy.
"How was it?" - Said Saber wearing a men's suit. - "It was good, but..." - said Itadori. - "Don't worry, I'm already used to wearing men's clothing." - said Saber. - 'She was probably constantly treated like a man in life, she must have been a pain...' - thought Itadori.
"Are ready?" - said Irisviel. - "Yes!" - The two servants spoke at the same time. - "Then....
Let's go to Japan!"
