well, this is a try to take one of my most liked and disliked characters for me and see how could they have been as the name says a probability with the least tragedy as the world of nasuverse is allergic to happy endings without trauma. There is no system here even tho I personally like them but a system will defeat the point of this plot ohh and there will not be all sunshine and rainbows as in fate that's realistically not possible. so let's get this started !!
(I don't own the type moon stuff the ocs are my creation and all other stuff belongs to the original creator.)

Write a reviewThe novel’s premise is both intriguing and ambitious. By taking a character known for his struggles against the predestined paths laid out before him, the author opens the door to a multitude of "what if" scenarios. The core of the narrative is a profound question: How far can we stretch fate? This central theme is expertly woven into the fabric of the story, providing a rich tapestry of alternate possibilities for Shirou Emiya’s journey.[img=update]I want more chapters
As far i was hoping it to be bad but it's quite good and interetsting... I have read these kind of novel before but there is certain charm to this one Hoping the author to refine in work more and provide more world building Ps: i will update my review if i see an upward trend or downward in future[img=recommend]
What truly sets this novel apart is its exploration of Shirou Emiya as both a beloved and contentious figure. The author’s personal investment in the character is palpable, lending the narrative a sense of authenticity and passion. This duality—of admiration and frustration—adds depth to Shirou’s portrayal, making his journey all the more compelling. Readers who are familiar with Shirou’s canon struggles will find themselves engrossed in this new take, as it invites them to reconsider and reimagine his path.[img=recommend]
So well so far, writing and pacing is alright. Characters are depicted well. This fic has potential and I am excited to see where the author takes it to. Keep up the hardwork mr. author! take my 5stars of encouragement!
theres nothing new into this its just shiro being shiro this thing is no different from light novel though the light novel is still better i thought it was transmigration but its just shiro so yeah its boring
11/10 novel!!!!!!!!!!!!! The author knows what he's doing and has all the knowledge and skills about the nasuverse necessary to make the read plausible and enjoyable to read. the fact that he uses the bad ending of the vn as a method of narration is also beautiful and gives a lot of nostalgic feels from I played it. Overall it's a roller coster of nostalgia together with innovation in the stroy. The author has also been very available in making clarification about the content in comments when I had some doubts about some info I ended about canon up mixing cause of many fanfiction so thats a big plus for me as it makes me feel that the author is serious about his work to readily talk it out with the readers. If you like fate you must read this.
Just gonna be very blunt and honest here, It's very good. You stick to the source material, you expand in ways that are plausible, and all that is added is incredibly reasonable. Honestly the way the story is heading and directed is very good and very easy to stay into. Pacing can be said to be slow but it is made so to stop plot holes from occurring, and when they do you correct them. Be as for the characters, you do incredibly well at bringing them to life and make them feel like the people they are. overall very good and please keep up the great work
The novel was pretty decent for the rest of similar genre out there in the wild. I would higly recommend to read this novel. Rest, the writing style is engaging, with a blend of introspective moments and dynamic action sequences. The author’s passion for the character and the universe is evident, and this enthusiasm is infectious, drawing the reader deeper into the story.
an masterpiece in the making 👏 the story is as realistic as fate can get.if you can't handle dark an gore ey storytelling it's not for you but if you can handle it it's a baller story
Reveal SpoilerFantastic writing improvements from the 1st ch to now, greatly appreciate your understanding of shirou as a character he is more selfish than what 99% of other fanfics portray him to be. Also excellent and believable progression some writers make him a Mary sue type character that can do no wrong and will never lose even though in the VN he loses every single interaction he has with a semi comptant enemy except for when he clearly has an advantage(Gil) or a genuine plan in place I mean there are almost 60 smt death scenes in the VN. Anyway much love for making this looking forward to more
There is 2 negative aspect of this novel, story is quite slow for me and i like fast paced one more. 2nd is that some character design have flaws need more fleshing out in the future. Apart from these points i like the story very much and give it a 4.6/5 for now.
To any new reader to this, shirou will basically be all the shirou’s from this gif and It’s pretty pog
I've been liking this novel a lot. The plot is good the only thing that bugged me a little is that I felt like the chapter got shorter but maybe it's just because the bad endings pass quickly in my brain. Overall a very good read and the development of shirou emiya based on different twist of his trauma mixed with rising a possible full potential shirou is very intriguing. But I'm curious. I'm not really sure of his position in the timeline but will we ever see Shiki Tohno. can't remember if his story is contemporary to fate stay night or happens before or after. I'm asking cause I feel like this shirou who will kill his enemies no matter what may have very interesting interactions with Tohno.
I like this novel a lot for now I feel like it has a lot of potential but there is one glaring problem I cannot get rid of................ and that is I need more chapters. this shit is too sword we need even more. we are swords ⚔️🗡🔥
Author Fickle_as_light
I will just say few lines after reading till chapter 17 is that: One of the most striking elements of this novel is its commitment to staying true to the complex, often harsh realities of the Nasuverse. The author makes it clear from the outset that there will be no easy victories or unearned happiness. The world that Shirou navigates is fraught with danger, sacrifice, and the ever-present shadow of tragedy. This adherence to the darker aspects of the source material ensures that the story remains grounded and resonant, avoiding the pitfalls of overly idealistic narratives. I will recommend you to give atleast 7-8 chapter a read before you decide on anything[img=coins]
