Chapter 22: Chapter 21 - Kyoto Arc 12
Negi unexpectedly enjoyed play the video games,this is the first time in his life he played a video games.
"Wow, you are great at this Negi-kun!" Konoka said.
"Oooh! He really smart! Negi-Sensei is really is a boy genius!" Haruna said.
Hearing the praise from Haruna and Konoka, Negi got better playing the video games and surprised the members of group 5.
"Can I challenge you in this games?" A small boy with black hair in a knitted cap suddenly appeared and sat next to Negi to challenge him to play.
"No problem." Negi said.
"Ooooooh!" Konoka said.
"This is a challenge match Negi-Sensei !? Don't lose to that kids!" Haruna said.
"Negi do your best!" Konoka said.
"OK!" Negi said.
After a pretty fierce video game battle for a few minutes.
"I lose!" Negi said.
"It's okay Negi-kun! I myself can't play as good as Negi-kun. So for the person who played for the first time, Negi-kun played really well," Konoka said.
"That's right," said the boy who challenged Negi."You are playing really good for a people who play for the first time, but unfortunately you lack experience Negi Springfield. "

"Okay, you two be careful.I and Miss Konoka will go after we done playing the games," Setsuna said.
At the T-junction near the Game Center, the child who challenged Negi to play accidentally crashed into Shirou who was in a date with Evangeline.
The little boy fell but Shirou remained standing straight, only his body became a little unsteady because of the collision.
"Are you ok?"Shirou asked while reaching out his hand to help the boy stand up.
"I'm fine, thank you for helping me, Onii-san." The child answered.
The boy then leaned over to Shirou then ran off leaving Shirou.
"That boy is a Hanyou." Said Evangeline.
"I know," said Shirou, "The smell that is on him is not the smell of humans. Plus there is a smell of Negi on his body even though it is a bit faint."
"You can even smell your brother's scene from that kid, are you a dog?" Asked Evangeline.
"No but my nose is the one like a dog's nose, which I want to know when and for what that boy approached Negi." Shirou replied.
"It's true that hanyo boy is quite suspicious," Evangeline said. "How about we follow that boy! I'm a little bored with the date right now.If we follow that kid we might find something interesting. "

"You make a scarf using your strange magic!?are you out of your mind!"Evangeline protested.
"This scarf is called the Cap of Hades or Cloth of Concealment. Anyone who touches this scarf or wears it in the form of a hat will not be detected visually and magically." Shirou explained to Evangeline.
"Cap of Hades! Heirloom in Greek legend !Before you took out the Rule Breaker and now the Cap of Hades! Where do you actually get all of that?" Asked Evangeline.

"Never mind! If you don't want to be honest, it's okay but after we return to Mahora, I want you to promise to explain all the secrets about your strange magic to me!" Evangeline said.
"Okay I promise," Shirou said, "Now come hold to this Cloth of Concealment so we can follow that boy safely."
"Alright Hmph!" Said Evangeline.
Both of them walked while wrapping their bodies using the Cap of Hades and then they quickly caught up with the boy.
Nodoka, who was suspicious of Asuna and Negi, followed slowly from behind.
"Negi-Sensei and Asuna-san where are you teo going?" Nodoka said.

After riding the train for a few minutes, the two of them finally arrived at their destination.
"The toori is huge," Negi said. "Is this the central shrine of the Kansai Magic Association?"
"Yeah, and the name of this place is the Genbi Temple," Asuna said. "I went on holiday here with Konoka and Setsuna a few years ago. "
"Are this place is really the home of the Konoka-san family?" Negi asked.
"That's right, and this temple is so huge. Even Konoka and I never explore this place to tje fullest," Asuna answered.

"Asuna-san, Negi-Sensei!" When Negi and Asuna were going to pass through the torii of the Genbi temple, the two of them heard a familiar voice beside them.
"Gyaaaa! What are you!"Asuna shouted.
"Se-Setsuna-san!" Negi said.
"Sorry if I surprised you Asuna-san, I used this shikigami as a link, because I was worried about you two," Setsuna said.

After the four of them entered the Genbi temple, the four of them were completely unaware that they had been watched since they entered the area near the Genbi temple. And now all four of them had fallen into enemy traps.
Thirty minutes later after running as hard as they could but not getting to their destination.

On a thick bamboo branch not far from where Negi and Asuna are. Stand a woman wearing a kimono that is slightly exposed her body the one accompany her was a boy who challenges Negi playing a game and a giant spider-shaped Shikigami.The woman was Amagasaki Chigusa who kidnapped Konoka on the first night of the Study Tour.
"With this they can't escape! Inugami Kotaro, watch them!" Chigusa said.
"Boring! Why aren't we attacked them right away!" Kotaro said.
"Shut up and follow my orders!" Chigusa said. "Now I'm going to kidnap Konoka-Sama! "
Without Chigusa and Kotaro knowing they were also being watched by Shirou and Evangeline who had followed Kotaro to the Genbi temple.
"That girl is the one who kidnapped Konoka-san on the first night of the Study Tour and now she plans to kidnap Konoka-san again." Shirou said irritably.
"Eishun's daughter is accompanied by a bodyguard, right?" Evangeline said. "Don't worry about her too much."

In front of the first torii of the Genbi temple, Nodoka who had somewhat lost track of when following Negi and Asuna was finally able to also trace Negi and Asuna whereabouts using a clue from Diarium Edjus.
"Negi-Sensei and Asuna-san where are the two of them?" Nodoka said.
"Arrrrgh finally I can go to the toilet!" Asuna said.
After they try to find the weak points of the kekkai which locked the four of them together, they found nothing but they found a resting place for a temple visitors. Because Asuna and Negi feel tired from running and walking they decided to rest and arrange the next step.
"It's a relief," Negi said, sitting on the bench in the restroom while drinking juice.
"The trap that locked us in this temple is really brutal!" Said Setsuna. "It's hard to find the weak points. "
"Why do they have to set such traps! I'm really tired because I have to run for so long!" Said Asuna. "Even though we only deliver letters from the principal."
"Because many people from here do not want the relationship between Kanto and Kansai to improve," Setsuna said.
"Wizards in Kanto are too westernized," said Asuna, "So I think it's natural that magician in Kansai who are steadfast in holding ancient traditions don't like it."
"Instead of that we better get ready in case an enemy appears!" Negi said.
"Negi-Sensei is right," Setsuna said. "Enemies can appear at any time! "

"Alright! Trace On!" Asuna said using the reinforcement magic Shirou taught. While holding the pactio card.
"Maryoku has flowed through Asuna-nee's body," Camo said. "Now kick the stone!"
"Haaaah!" Asuna said, kicking the stone in front of her until the stone ruin into crumble.
"See! That's how strong Asuna-nee when she uses reinforcement magic, "Camo said.
"From what I see the principle is similar to the ki I used," Setsuna said. "Using the inner energy in the body to strengthen the body."
Seeing the reinforcing magic Asuna used and the words from Camo and Setsuna Negi saw a flashback from his past. A Siluet of a man who was holding the wand he was currently using.That siluet holding the wand in left hand while strangling a demon with the right hand.
"Can I use the same magic as Asuna-san?" Negi said, "Certainly to strengthen my body."
"You can." Camo said.
"Theoretically it might work," Setsuna said. "But Shirou-Sama can use magic without catalysts or spells, does Negi-Sensei understand how Shirou-Sama uses his reinforcement magic? "
"I know," Negi said. "Shirou-nii once told me how, but because I was too accustomed to using a stick so I couldn't use magic without a catalyst. Even though Shirou-ni's reinforcement magic was very basic in theory. "
"Sorry, but I don't want to wait for you to learn magic, whatever it is."
Inugami Kotarou's voice was heard in the ears of the four of them but he had not shown himself.
"Who is that!" Asuna shouted.

In front of Asuna, Negi, Camo and Setsuna.Kotarou appeared standing on Chigusa's giant spider Shikigami.
"Are you ready to fight with me!" Kotarou said, "I hope for an exciting battle,from both of you!"
