Chapter 210: Jade Garden Pt. 1

"You're so full of yourself. Get off of me." Using a bit more strength she pushed off the couch to free herself from his grasp. His hold was never that tight on her so when he relaxed, it was easy to break free.

Dusting off her clothes, she grabbed her hat, mask, and keys and headed towards the door. If she stayed here any longer he may say more untoward stuff. Only after putting on her shoes did she notice that he was still seated on the couch. The only difference was that he shifted to be in direct view of her. His body was casually leaning against the couch but his eyes had a focused look. He was watching her every move as if it was some sort of performance. Raising a questioning look, his eyes drew towards her to finally make contact. Seeing the "?" on her face finally made him get up and head towards her.
