It was her 32 weeks of pregnancy, and things were starting to get a bit heavy for Cynthia.

"Mommy~ is it the hiccups again?" John asked with a sad tone as he fidgeted next to his now very pregnant mother.

"Mhm!" She managed to say while she was breathing throughout the contractions.

Meanwhile, George was pouring her a glass of water from the pitcher that was always left by John's bedside, "Here, have some water," he said with a concerned tone, it was the doctor's advice for when Cynthia goes through something similar.

But as per George's observations, these contractions were beginning to happen too frequently.

"Darling, how about we make a short trip to the hospital, hm?" He asked as nonchalantly as he could.

But Cynthia was too busy trying not to freak out to answer her husband's fair question. Her hands were on her abdominal part which was entirely harder than usual, this happened when her Braxton-Hicks were at their peak.
