Chapter 268: Melody

A muffled explosion sounded, and a brown-colored shockwave followed. Imperium and broken pieces of exoskeletons scattered everywhere, like an expanded sphere.

Melody had a relaxed smile on her face. She casually wiped the sweat from her brow with a handkerchief while scanning the battlefield for her next opponent. The number of Spirit Fantasma had dwindled significantly, but she didn't mind. In fact, this was the best because all those remaining were the most satisfying opponents.

On the other side of the battlefield, melody saw a lone Sky Sage wandering about. It seemed to have something in mind as it stuck ever so close to the cliffs as if trying to blend in with the rocks. Melody immediately grew suspicious of the strange movements of a Spirit Fantasma, who was supposed to only rely on instinct for executing such a clever strategy.
