He called Fitzroy over, then informed him of the plan. Fitzroy was no less of a daredevil than Xasha, so of course, he said yes to all Xasha's crazy ideas.

"Are you sure?"

Fitzroy looked at Xasha like he was an alien. "Why do you keep asking that?"

"Because we could all die horribly," Xasha said nonchalantly.

Fitzroy grinned in excitement. "That just sounds like a good time to me."

Everyone backed up a few hundred meters from the target tree, and Ana was called over as security.

Xasha decided he would run a brief experiment before they got down to business. He set up a spell around the tree, which would act as a prison just in case the Astra Flame decided to leave the tree and attack everyone.
