Chapter 285: Ana (4)

Ana wasted no time as she needed to get back to Lea, who was already tired from her never-ending battle against one Heaven Sage, and now faced two. Her whip did not slow down as she slaughtered them by the dozen while not forgetting to collect all heir Valdis to prevent future troubles. In half an hour, the mantises stopped flowing into the cavern, mainly because they were all dead. 

Ana released a long sigh, then turned around to face Xasha, who was looking after Joi. He had her on a portable healing pod and protected her while Ana was busy dealing with the other mantises. 

"Are you okay?" She asked the two of them as she approached.

"We're fine, thanks to her," Xasha gestured to the sleeping Joi with her chin.

"How is she doing?" Ana asked, concerned.
