Chapter 28: They Know That She Is The Werewolf's Mate
Mara was forced to lie to Jade even if only partially. She could not reveal the truth because as a vampire nation, of course, she would not be willing if her fellow was taken by the wolves.
She only said that Shane liked her and how she knew, of course, she overheard Shane and his friends talking. And that was why when Shane met Mara's family because she crossed their territory it was agreed that none of them could cross that area.
Jade listened to Mara's story seriously. But she didn't look surprised. She just thought that Shane liked her. But of course, Jade never thought too much of it because to her such things were normal.
Yes, it was very normal for her. Boys like girls.
Seeing Jade's usual expression, Mara raised one eyebrow. "You really weren't surprised, Jade."
"What should I do? I just love Max, Mara. I think that's very normal. Ahhh ... you guys make me think something serious is going on," Jade said with relief.
