Chapter 106: She Gave Me Closure

Jace's POV

"Caitlin!" I exclaimed, I couldn't believe my ex-girlfriend is in my mom's house.

"Hello! Jace! Trouble in paradise?" She asked, grinning at me, and I can't deny it, she is always beautiful whichever angle I look at her, and whatever else she was wearing. Her smile is always captivating, and I felt guilty because I made her life miserable. Even if Caitlin is smiling at me, I can see her through, and the misery that I have caused her is still clear. I realize she tries to cover the sadness with her sweet smiles. 

"No! Just some complications, I didn't know you were here." I blurted out.
