Earlier on, Jordy had planned on asking Aj to be his girlfriend but it was already too late now.
Back at the international airport at Lavanya, a lot of people were gathered to welcome the arriving Princess Winter Arabella Maximilian Theodore .
The guards helped in clearing the way as the princess made her way through. The princess hardly showed up in public and all the few times that she did, she always wore a mask to conceal her real identity and today wasn't an exception. As she got out of the airport, she saw the already awaiting limousine ready to take her to the palace. She got in and made her journey towards the grand palace of Lavanya
She got to the palace and stared at this magnificent place she grew up in. She inhaled the fresh air before heading to the main doors of the palace.
She was led towards a meeting room in the palace to meet her father
'Daddy' Princess Winter screeched excitedly as she ran into her father's already open arms. She had missed him a lot.
'How are you doing, my princess?' King Eleazar Alexander Maximilian Theodore greeted cheerfully
'I'm fine' she replied cheerfully
'Wint?' A familiar voice seed uncertainly from behind making her turn to look at the person
'Ryan!!!' Winter screeched excitedly as she went to hug him also.
After all the pleasantries had been made, Winter finally noticed the woman seated on one of the leather couches.
After noticing the confusion on her forehead, her dad decided to explain everything
'Let's sit and talk first' her dad suggested
'Dad, isn't she the woman I met in front of the house that day in LA?' Winter asked
'Yes, honey. Uhm who do you think she is?' Her dad asked
'Well, considering the way you reacted, I concluded that you finally decided to date again, so she was your girlfriend' Winter said innocently making everyone in the room laugh. They knew that the discussion they were about to have was quite serious but they couldn't hold it in after what she said. They never could tell what she was going to say. She always rendered them speechless
After the laughter died down, the mood immediately turned serious
'Princess, I applaud your intelligence but that's not the case' her dad said
'Then who is she then?' She asked
'Princess I lied to you about something' her dad started
'Really?' Winter gasped
'Yes. This woman here is your mother' he finally said and the long silence that followed was excruciating
'Dad, mum died when I was two' Winter argued
'That was a lie. Listen princess, your mum had to leave for something important, for your safety. And when you kept asking about her and I couldn't tell you the truth, so I lied that your mother died' her dad explained sorrowfully
'I'm sorry to say this but I don't believe you. If she's truly my mother why didn't she visit all these years, why didn't she call or text, why did she just disappear out of the blue?' Winter asked as tears rolled down her eyes and she quickly wiped them away as she ran out of the meeting room and up the stairs to her own room.
When she got to her room, she shut the door and locked it
