Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Minnie
'Jordy please do you mind calling Aj down for lunch?' Zac asked
'Why didn't you just ask any of them?' Jordy asked gesturing to the remaining guys
'Haven't you seen the way she looks at them, she looks at them like if she had the opportunity, she'd kill them' Ricardo said
'And is the way she looks at me any different?' Jordy asked
'Of course! The way she looks at you is the way she'd look at the person she loves....' Alex let his world trail off as he barely missed the book that Jordy threw at him making everyone laugh
'Just go call her. She knows you better and will be more friendly towards you' Zac said
'Fine' Jordy mumbled although he was actually happy about what Alex said
He climbed up the stairs and walked to her room before placing a knock on her door.
'I was asked to call you down for dinner' Jordy said with a small smile when she opened the door
'Oh ok I'll be down in a minute' she replied
Later on she arrived at the dining table and sat on the seat she took as hers as it was the only empty seat available.
Jordy who had been stealing glances at her had noticed that she looked at the food the same way she had done back at the restaurant. He looked at the food but didn't notice any peas in them. Fortunately for him, he didn't have to ask her as someone else did
'What's wrong? Is the food not to your liking?' Zac asked. He had noticed the way Jordy had been looking at her and that was what drew his attention to her. He knew Jordy might find it uncomfortable to ask her so he decided to instead
'Was the salad coated with peanut butter?' Aj asked instead
'Yes. Why?' Zac asked. Zac was the one who usually prepared their food
'Oh no its nothing. I'm just kinda allergic to peanut and butter' Aj said
'Oh sorry I didn't know. I'll serve you another food without the salad' Zac said
'Oh no don't worry. Just direct me to the kitchen and I'll get it myself' Aj said
Zac directed her to the kitchen and nobody spoke a word until she was out of sight
'What happened to her? She looked pissed just a while ago' Xavy piped up
'I was wondering the exact same thing' Kai said agreeing with him
'She probably gave herself a pep talk about the fact that you guys are not at fault for what happened' Jordy said sipping his juice from his cup
'Oooh. And how exactly did you know that?' Dami said tauntingly
'Or could it be that Jordy likes her?' Alex asked and once again he barely missed the book thrown at him
'What are you guys even talking about?' Jordy asked as he returned his focus back to his phone
Aj returned back to her seat and ate quietly as she listened to the discussions that held around the table while stealing quick glances from Jordy every now and then. All discussions abruptly came to a halt when someone ringed the door bell
Xavier went to check who it was.
'Hi, I'm Ella, I'm here to see Aj' she informed him
'Oh come in' Xavier managed to say and watched as she walked and only then did he see the little white puppy that followed her in
'Aj!!!' Ella screeched startling Aj who was eating her food
'Isa, finally, you've arrived. Where's my puppy?' She asked and a smile split across her face on sighting her puppy behind Ella
She knelt as she played with the little puppy making Ella roll her eyes
'Well since you didn't deem it fit to introduce me to the rather good looking guys, I'll do it myself' Ella said to Aj before turning her attention to the guys
'Hi, I'm Isabella and this cute little puppy over here is Minnie, she is one of the few people on this planet that Aj actually cares about' Ella said earning a quick glare from Aj before she returned her attention to her puppy.
'Oh are you hurt? Ella didn't take good care of you, did she? You've grown lean' Aj said fussing about her puppy
'At times like this, I can't help but think that you care about Minnie much more than you care about me' Ella whined
'Oh please. Aren't you supposed to be leaving already?' Aj asked as she stood up with her puppy in her arms and sat down back on her chair as she placed the puppy on her legs while petting it
