Chapter 42: Chapter FORTY-TWO

　　I didn't think I could avoid Theo forever, the constant calls and texts from him were beginning to give me a headache. I needed this to be over. If I can tell him that we couldn't see each other then it wouldn't be a problem for him.

　　I answered his last message that read,

　　Can we talk?

　　I texted him back, telling him where to meet me. In my favorite restaurant, it was a pretty intimate place for me, I don’t know why I told him to meet me there. I liked dining alone there, reminded me of home.

　　I wore my signature black dress, I didn't put much into my appearance and I liked it that way, it was mostly to tell him off and have dinner, there was no need to dress like I was going to pick up a date. Although, I paid a lot of attention to my hair and makeup. I couldn't go there looking like one of the rejected patrons. I needed to look my best.
