Chapter 4: 5 years later...
5 years later
At the end of winter.
In the airport, noise was filled everywhere disturbing others.
The wind blew away stuffs which included a hat of a lady.
Jess Smith jumped up to catch her hat before it could fly even more . Behind her were two little adorable girls .
One with a straight face and the other with a smiling face. They where identical twins people couldn't get enough of them.
The difference between them is that the one with the straight face Arianna looked nothing like Jess but Amara the bubbling one had Jess's hair .
When they where born Jess was in shock as the doctors handed over the girls to her they both looked nothing like her but they looked so cute with their ocean blue eyes.
'Thank God at least my kids look cute. I wonder who could be their dad' she muttered out which didn't go unheard by the girls.
'Mom you still don't remember who our dad is ' Arianna asked.
Amara tiled her head and glanced at a poster at the wall. Her eyes lit up in excitement the man in the poster looked exactly like them.
'Mom see ' she said pointing at the poster. Jess turned to look at the poster when she had a call.
On phone.
' Hi bestie' the person on the other line said . From her voice one could say she was a girl.
'Sheila am at the airport where are you' Jess said sounding a bit tired. This journey was really a long stressful journey.
A person from a distance screamed ' Bestie' .
All attention drifted to her put she didn't care right now . Jess looked at Sheila who was waving her .
Hearing the scream of a familiar voice the twins looked up . It was their Aunty .
Amara ran to Sheila. Shelia embraced her tightly. As for the other child, Arianna she stood there watching them .
She rubbed her forehead helplessly and said ' Grow up sis'.
Then she raised her eyes revealing a sweet gentle smile melting her mom and aunty eyes . She always portrayed herself as a grown person but was sweet inside .
The signed and joined her sister to embrace their Aunty .
This never failed to put a smile on Jess's face.
She kicked her luggages, overwhelmed with joy she joined them . Such a sweet hug.
Arianna moved her wrist releasing herself from the hug.
' Guys we have spent 5 :30 seconds on a hug let get going' Arianna muttered unhappily.
To prevent any more lectures they all obedient left the airport to board a car.
The next day.
Jess yawned as she got up. At the same time nudged Sheila beside her.
Then both of them dressed, and walked to the kitchen. Jess skillfully began to fry the pancakes and mix milk.
After a while the house was filled with sweet aromas .
The twins , who where sleeping soundly on the bed began to sniff, lick their lips pulled the sheets over their head.
Sleep was more important than food.
Before they could continue a huge finger rushed into their room with towels.
Jess walked into their drawer selecting their outfit.
After selecting the right choices she climbed into their bed .
Jess lifted the covers of the girls covering their heads and kissed their face.
God she knew how to annoy them.
Arianna lifted the covers to cover her face .
Jess wouldn't easily give up.
'Babies l prepared your favorites'.
'Let me sleep , just 20 minutes' they both said uniformly.
' No babies' she rejected
She stepped forward and opened the curtains ' Babies l have an interview in the next hour. I can't be late'.
'Why God '
Amara curled up like a ball moving to the other side of the bed with the intention to sleep for another 5 minutes.
Jess just smiled at them gently and said
'If am able to get this job , we will go to the park to have some fun. Guys get up . This job deals with time babies'.
This could make them do anything.
'Okay mom'.
As soon as they heard their mom turning on the shower . They sat up and glared at Jess.
' Good morning babies' she greeted them gently
'Good morning mom'
'Good morning mom'
Jess didn't know whether to cry or laugh . Her babies always had types of expression.
Right now they where expressionless.
At this moment, Jess walked up to them putting their clothes on the bed.
After their bath they went to Jess room to help her get ready.
It is really surprising that at the age of 27 she didn't know much about fashion.
Luckily she had two idols to help her.
15 minutes later
Jess took the clothes about to put it on when she saw they weren't office attires but they looked more like beach clothes . She asked with a surprise face ' Why sundress'
Jess didn't not agree and wanted to change but Amara held her hand ' You will look good in them'.
Her soft voice stabbed her heart. She couldn't say no to her daughter. The realization hit her she was late .
She wore her dress and run out of the building without saying bye to the kids and Sheila.
She ran back home like a hoarse panting she said ' Sorry l forgot to say bye '.
Unlike Amara who was shocked to see her mom run back home because she forget to say bye , Arianna possessed maturity that was did not belong to girls her age.
Knowing her mother was already late she let her go without saying much.
Jess took the elevator to the 20 floor.
As expected the decor of AH jewelries was very luxurious.
She couldn't help but admire the decorations.
The HR was stunned to see Jess and asked uncertainly ' Excuse but are you Ms. Smith'
Jess was recommended to him by a friend. She said she was a brilliant, hardworking and discipline Designer.
He couldn't miss this opportunity after seeing some of her collections.
As soon as he saw her collections he contacted her to be their Head Designer.
It was unbelievable that at age 24 she introduced her own jewelries with the help of a big brand.
However she looked more gently and quiet.
He was getting more impressed every second by her .
He looked at her without a doubt.
However she had to go show some of her designs .
Fortunately she was able to passed the AH jewelries design works without a sweat .
' At 7 o'clock tonight you will attend a banquet with the president at Seas Hotel . This will give you time to prove yourself to the president since he isn't here '
The HR handed her a paper and left .
"Don't get the president angry".
" Don't get too close to the president cause he has a fiancee , which easily get jealous"
" Come to work on time"
Her fingers flick at the last rule.
" Don't fall inlove with the president"
