Chapter 25: Treasure Time!

The group celebrated as they finally took down the massive snake. Then the ground started to shake, and blue mana formed around them, fixing the hospital and everything inside it. Patients' bodies were turned into blue smoke, and all the equipment broken or destroyed turned into blue smoke as well. The whole hospital was changed to what it looked like before the Mana awakening. It seemed more bright and not as dark and dreary as it was.

"Well, this is interesting. So I am guessing we cleared the dungeon and so everything is being fixed by the world or the mana itself. I can't wait for all the treasure we will find!"

Allie smiled and sighed as she saw Ash jumping around with Mr Wiggles. He yelled about how he would get some treasure like a pirate sailing on the seven seas. Maybe her parents were right to take Ash to mental help. She loved him for his character and never wanted him to change. Her parents, on the other hand, wanted him to be the perfect son they always wanted.

"Ash we should probably rest while everything fixes itself and save your energy. Also, we will have a serious talk later about you sneaking grenades out of the bunker!"

Allie glared at him with a cold stare, and he ran behind Beth to hide from her. Beth was still confused about where they could get explosives so easily. She decided that she needed to rest for a while and ask questions later. The mana was beautiful as it moved and fixed everything the monster destroyed. The snake's body seemed to stay, so that was a positive thing. They could use the body for food and share some with the cult.

The man swirled and gathered in front of them. They saw it make shapes and words. This reminded Allie and Ash of what happened in the tutorial. The Mana probably spoke to them again and give them a reward just like last time. Ash started jumping around with excitement and took out the coin they got from the tutorial. They flipped the coin, and got 2x side of the coin.

[Elemental Snake Dungeon was completed by 3 survivors. Distributed rewards.......]

The mana swirled around in a circle in front of them. The windows began to crack but then fixed themselves. The coin started to glow red, and the swirl of mana turned red. The item looked like it affected the rewards they would get. A chest with red and golden trim appeared in front of them. The group all smiled as they saw the chest.

Ash ran towards the chest, and the two ladies sighed and followed him. They all crouched down next to the chest, opened it up, and saw multiple items in it. They saw 3 medium-sized vials with a blue liquid in them. Furthermore, there were another 3 vials with red liquid. There were then three bags that glowed brightly red, dark blue, and bright yellow, and they looked very stylish. Then last but not least, there was a multi-colored egg with a winged snake symbol on it.

Ash picked up the red and blue vials first since they reminded him of DND and how they had potions that could heal or give mana or other types of effects. The liquid seemed to glow and then as they focused on them he was given some information as the mana formed words in front of the group when they looked at the item.

[Medium Potion Of Healing- This potion heals mildly severe injuries and heals most damage to the body unless the person has a major injury. They can even help with a common cold or minor sickness.]

[Medium Potion Of Mana Recovery- This potion recovers mana for a magic user when they run out of mana. This can recover half of their mana pool in a few minutes. They have the chance to help people unlock their mana if they have not already.]

Well, this was definitely helpful for them since they will get hurt in the future. Especially if Ash has access to explosives, this would be very useful. They wondered if they could study it and make it themselves. That would be a huge success if they could find a way to make it themselves and have it on the go. They moved on to the next item, the bags that were brightly colored and looked stylish.

[Meduim Bag of Holding- This bag can hold 50 items. The bag will freeze the item for a long time, so if you have hot food it will stay hot and not spoil. The bag can also hold living things without a problem and they can live in it for up to a week.]

Now this is what they need at all times. They were not trying to replicate this but they were trying to improve the item as soon as possible. Bags of holding are rare and amazing items in all books and video games. This was going to be a valuable tool for them when they have to store items for dungeons or just walking around and exploring.

Then they all looked at the multi-colored egg with the winged snake symbol. Ash picked it up and looked at it. He really wanted to be like one of those beast tamers in the story he always reads. The egg glowed red as he touched it and then dark grey. Then it turned back into a multi-colored egg like before.

[Winged Elemental Snake Egg- This egg contains a winged snake that controls multiple elements. This monster will already be tamed by the person who completed this dungeon. It can grow and evolve by eating cores from other monsters or monster flesh.]

It must have been the best item they could get because they could train and become stronger with another future member. They should save some snake meat for when it hatches as it would help with its growth. Ash held the egg with a happy and goofy expression. He was the same way when he got Mr Wiggles. Ash loved animals and always wanted multiple pets.

Mr Wiggles sniffed the egg and snuggled into it. Ash talked to Mr Wiggles about being his big brother. Allie could not help but find this scene cute since Ash was trying to make a big family of pets. He was really cute but now she had another mouth to feed since she usually took care of the pets when Ash forgot to feed them or some other thing he always forgets about. He gives them attention at least.

"Now that we are welcoming a new family member! We can head back to the house and relax. Also, let's eat this snake in the bunker and have some delicious french fries with it!"
