Chapter 26: Meeting The Older Sister!?!?

Ash and the group all decided to take another break after the fight and rest for an hour in the breakroom on the lower floor. Allie stared at Ash, who carried the egg like a baby. She really did not want to worry about another mouth to feed but it couldn't be helped. She prays to God that Ash does not get more eggs in other dungeons. Otherwise, they will have to build a floor that is exclusively for his pets.

"Well, these bags will be really useful Allie. But I am more excited about having an additional family member. Maybe when it becomes big enough we can use it to fly around the city and get to dungeons faster. That would be amazing right?"

"Ash we should be more worried about getting out of here. Also yes the bags are useful but I am more worried about having another mouth to feed. You are already enough trouble and we already have Beth here as another member that will join us in the bunker."

Ash smiled and paid no mind to her negative comments. He looked at the egg lovingly and made sure it was okay. She sighed as he did not pay attention to what she said about the situation. Beth on the other hand was smiling at the interaction these two were having.

As soon as we finish our break, Master Ash, we should probably cut some of the snake. Then we should give some to the cult and head to the bunker you mentioned. As well, Allie, I think we should just let Master Ash keep the pet and not worry about another mouth to feed. I am sure Eva can help."

Allie glared at Beth with a cold expression as she heard she was taking his side. What could she expect from a cult member that sees Ash as their god? He could want to destroy all of humanity and they would let him do it and agree with his methods. This is why cults are scary to deal with since they will do anything for their goal or the person they worship. Good thing Ash is not a crazy person who wants to destroy the world.

The group rested for about an hour and then walked back towards the elevator and headed to the third floor. They reached the massive snake corpse left from the battle and started skinning the monster. They also cut meat into slabs to put in their bags. The bag seemed to be able to stack multiple items of the same type so they did not take up that much room in the bag.

"Ash make sure to save all the organs that seem important including the heart. I want to make sure we eat the heart and have a piece to give to Eva. She would want to analyze the flesh we get from a monster that uses multiple elements."

Ash nodded at Allie's suggestion and used his war fan to cut the heart out. He avoided damaging the heart. As they chopped up the body with all the materials they found a multi-coloured core that seemed to hold multiple elements. This must have been the monster core mentioned. This could be used for a variety of purposes, such as creating a weapon or something useful.

"Allie I found this cool looking orb! It looks like a huge rainbow candy ball! Can I eat it or do you also want it taken to the bunker? I really want to see what happens when I eat this thing. I could unlock my protagonist's power and become the Wizard King!"

"Ash you have been watching too much anime. There's no Black Clover here and you better not say you're going to pass your limits and pay some theme music or I'll freeze and drag you home. Also don't eat that monster core. We need to study that!"

Allie sighed as she cut into the snake and dealt with Ash's childish nature. Inwardly she was smiling at how he had lightened the mood around them. She stored a lot of blood from the body to see if they could use the blood for something in the bunker. They could add blood to crops or the grass animals eat in the bunker. Maybe mana-infused blood could be useful later on as well.

"Sorry Master Ash but you cannot eat that because it could harm your body. Now when we return home we can get you some rainbow candy to eat and have fun in the bunker. So just hang on until we get home."

Ash pouted since he was unable to eat the monster's core. Allie glared at Beth as she smiled smugly at her. She liked Beth as a rival and a person. However, she really will kill this bitch one day if she steals ash from her. The group finally finished taking everything from the snake. They even took the bones since they could be used to make weapons in the future.

The group headed to the elevator and pressed the first-floor button. They could finally leave this dungeon and head back home to relax while watching the news to see what else is happening. They walked outside to the front of the hospital and noticed that there were tents set up in front of the entrance. They saw the cult members notice them coming out of the hospital and kneeling in front of Ash.

"Master Ash congrats on completing the dungeon and not being injured at all. We expected you to finish the dungeon but never this quickly. This is why you are our god after all. You are beyond our expectations and keep improving. Also, we have someone wanting to speak to you in the main tent."

Ash nodded with a smile on his face, but he was very uncomfortable with the cult. He was not a god. He was just a person that wanted freedom and to go on endless adventures. Allie had the same issue. She was not comfortable with a group of people seeing Ash as a god. Beth on the other hand just nodded her head like this was a normal thing to do.

"Sure we can head over to the main tent and I would like to thank you for the praise! Also, we have something for the cult to use. We slayed a massive snake and wanted to share some meat. It has some helpful effects on the human body and makes you stronger when you eat it."

The cult member nodded and Ash took out some meat they had set aside in their newly acquired bags. They gave at least half of the meat since they did not need that much. A bunch of members began to grab most of the meat and store it in a large cart. The group headed towards the largest tent in the camp since they guessed that whoever they had to meet would probably be in that tent.

The group reached the tent and saw Stacy sitting in the middle of the room. She has a serious expression looking at some paperwork. However, they saw someone next to her smiling a carefree smile that matched Ash's. She had silver hair and red eyes like Ash's. Ash's smile stopped as he looked at the woman before him. He froze at first but then he walked forward and took a seat with another smile on his face.

"I guess it is finally time we had a chat little brother! I miss you so much after all. We have so much to catch up on since last meeting. I will tell you what actually happened and my side of the story."
