Chapter 30: Exploring The Bunker With Team!
Ash and the group of ladies were still making their way to the mansion, where they could rest after a long day of being in the dungeon dealing with giant snakes with elemental powers.
He did not want to deal with any more monsters or pests today since he was already mentally tired of what had happened.
They completed a dungeon and got so much treasure that it would be helpful in the long run. They were able to get another future pet that was going to be amazing to have as a friend for Mr Wiggles.
He was finally able to see his sister again and find out the real reason why she killed his parents. It turns out they were bastards that needed to die anyway. Well, good riddance to that trash.
Finally, they can go back to the house and rest in the bunker. Now they have two new people who will have a room in the bunker.
He was happy, though, since now they had a backer with the cult on their side and they wouldn't have to deal with raiders or bandits since they now had someone protecting them in the shadows. All he had to do was get stronger and figure out how to use his weather magic.
The group finally reached the front gate of the mansion. A bunch of dead bodies were in front of the gate once again. They were probably raiders that wanted to steal what was in the house, or they were people that wanted to live in the mansion and tried to brute force their way through.
You would think they would have stopped trying to get into the house if they saw dead bodies in front of it, but apparently, that must have motivated them more.
"Eva, could you send some bots to clean this mess up at the front gate? We are still getting raiders who want to break into the mansion. Also, please make sure to upgrade the defence, the fence, and the gate, just in case.
Allie looked at the bodies in disgust. She hated most people in general, other than Ash. They are animals that should be put down. She only loved Ash and maybe her parents.
That is a big maybe, however, because as she grew up, she noticed that they only took in Ash for the extra child support from the government and also so they could have his inheritance.
"Hey, Ash I wonder what is happening with my parents at the moment. Can we ask Eva for their location when we head inside? I wanted to see what was going on with them, at least. However, I don't care if they are alive or not."
Ash nodded, and the front gate opened as they headed inside the house. Aura and Beth were admiring the mansion and how big and beautiful it was.
Even the front yard had so much space filled with white flowers and trees with white petals. It was a beautiful sight to behold, and they were lucky to be able to live here with the infamous duo.
They walked to the front gate of the mansion. It was still the same massive door they remembered, but Eva seemed to have made some improvements because last time the door was dusty and covered in grime. This time it was clean and looked brand new—not old at all.
"This is an amazing home that you two live in. You said that your grandparents left you this house? They must have cared about you to leave all this to just you two. I must thank you for inviting me to your group and being able to live in such a place."
Beth looked at the house in awe at how big and amazing it looked. It felt more like she was looking at an old castle that an old lord would live in than a simple house.
She was lucky that she was chosen to help them in the dungeon and was invited to join their team. Now she could serve her god all the time and live with him as well. This was a dream come true.
The group walked into the mansion, which has three floors, not including the bunker that was in the basement. Beth and Aura looked at the inside of the mansion and were impressed.
Many paintings seemed to be from England and many fancy decorations. They felt like they were in a house fit for a king and queen, and they were just peasants that wandered in.
"We won't be living here in the house, but you can always pick a room if you wish to. Follow us to the basement, where the bunker is. That is where all of us will be staying, and it is more impressive than the house itself. The only reason we come here is because it brings back memories of us and our grandparents."
Aura and Beth nodded at their reasoning. Their grandparents were pretty much the only people in their lives who cared for them like a parent should. They must only come here so they can remember the memories, but it is too painful to stay there for too long. They must miss their grandparents.
The group headed towards the elevator that led to the bunker. Aura and Beth were surprised when they saw the elevator in the house. It looked so out of place in an old-time home such as this.
As they walked into the elevator, the group noticed that blue glowing lines covered the elevator, and there seemed to be two new floors. So in total, they now had seven floors in the bunker.
Ash and Allie knew that the first floor was the main lobby, where the couch and the main lobby are. The first floor has the least security since it was designed to have meetings with people.
The second floor was their penthouse, where they lived, and it had other apartments that could house a lot of people and bunks in another section of that floor. The third floor was the farm and the massive garden, where they could relax.
The fourth floor was a special floor that their grandparents made so they could give their grandparents whatever they wanted on this floor. It has many games and toys, and even a water park.
It was an amazing floor that their grandparents wanted to give them so they could always have fun and never be bored. Then finally, on the Fifth floor, was the armoury and the arena, where they had all their weapons and could fight. Now they wondered about the 6th and 7th floors.
"Eva must have added these floors when we went out. Well, that is going to be fun to explore later. Let's head to the second floor first since that is where you will be staying, and then we can figure out the new floors after eating some food."
The ladies of the group nodded and pressed the button for the second floor. Eva also appeared near them since she was able to be a hologram anywhere in the bunker. After all, this was her domain, so she could be anywhere in the bunker.
They arrived on the second floor and were surprised at how massive it was. A main lounge on the second floor led to multiple hallways with apartments that were not as big as the main penthouse but still massive.
"Well, ladies, go and pick out an apartment to live in, and in about an hour, we will start to have dinner and relax for the rest of the day. You also have access to explore the other floors and the two new ones. Have fun!"
