Chapter 20: Eating Snake And Having A Sleepover!

The group all sat at the table in the staff room and ate snake meat and side dishes. It tasted amazing, and the meat was tender and juicy. The bones from the snake really added flavor, and the broth complemented really well with the rice and vegetables. They all enjoyed the meal, and Mr. Wiggles enjoyed some lettuce and a carrot that Beth gave him.

"You ladies outdid yourself with this meal. I had never had a snake before, but this is amazing. I can also feel some of the snake's mana, making my body stronger than before. It is only a small change, but I feel a tiny bit more mana in my mana pool."

Ash could sense his body taking in the mana the snake had and improving his body a bit. This would enable him to be more flexible and have denser muscles than before. Allie and Beth also felt that their bodies were more flexible than before. They also felt stronger than when they entered. It was a small difference, and they had more mana in their mana pool. It would be useful if they used more magic in the future.

"Little brother, I have analyzed the snake, and I have come to the conclusion that if the animals in the base can hold mana and evolve, we can make food that contains mana and gives minor benefits to the body. This could improve your mediation and increase your power."

"Ash, I guess we now know that the dungeon is an elemental snake dungeon, and the boss should be a giant snake. So we will be able to eat another meal tomorrow with the snake meat we get and share some with the cult members outside. That way, they can improve their bodies as well, and this could be a share of goodwill for them."

Allie gazed at Ash, who stuffed his face with another helping of food. It appeared that he was more focused on food than the dungeon at the moment. She sighed and looked at him lovingly. He was so cute being carefree. This is why she has to protect him from those lustful wolves wanting to corrupt him. She will freeze anyone who makes him sad.

Master Ash Allie has a good point about the cult being happy about its possession of a precious resource. Also, we should rest up to save our strength for the last battle. In addition, we can regain our mana for the final battle since we will need it if this snake has a larger size than the one we just fought."

Beth looked at Ash, eating and having fun with the meal they made. When Ash is just being himself, he always brings out the joy in people and makes them feel free and happy. She should not tell him the cult has a picture album of him. They all have a group chat where they look at videos and cute moments Ash does on a daily basis. She saw a piece of rice on his cheek and took it off, and ate it.

"You fucking bitch that was my moment with Ash! That piece of rice was for me and not for you. I should have frozen you to death when I first met you. Spit that piece of rice out right now, and let me have it!"

Allie was pissed when she saw Beth take that piece of rice off Ash's face. She would have that cute anime moment, just like in her diary. She has dreamed of this moment since meeting Ash. How dare this bitch take her moment of love and affection that she was destined for? She should have used this skank as bait when she had the chance. Now she can't kill her because Ash likes her and wants her on the team.

"Now, Allie, I got the rice fair and square." I guess you were busy focusing on something else and not on Ash as you should be. After all, you are his lover, so you should always be on point about these things. I was taking care of him for you, that's all."

She looked at Allie with a smug face. She was determined to win Ash's attention and make sure her god got what he deserved and stayed happy. After all, she has trained herself to do this most of her life. Allie looked at her with a cold gaze that promised to break every bone in her body. She does not care at all since she is not part of the group, and Ash finds her useful, so she could die happy now.

Ash looks at the two arguing and fighting with each other and shrugs, and reaches for a third helping of the meal. He really loved snake meat. It really tasted like steak and chicken. He could see sparks flying between the two ladies' eyes as they looked at each other angrily. Well, he could deal with whatever they argue about later.

Mr. Wiggles was having fun with Ash and Eva and had a second helping of food. The two ladies in the group argued about the rice issue, which was not a big deal. He wondered where he would sleep since the girls took the couch, and there was only one place to sleep. Well, that was Ash's responsibility in the future, not right now.

"Little Brother, you should be off to bed soon to be well rested for tomorrow and ready to fight the final boss on the floor. Also, I wanted to let you know that there was another project your grandparents were working on for you. I will show it to you once you are done with your adventure."

The group finished their meal and talked about what to expect on the last floor. The ladies decided Ash should sleep with them on the couch. Ash, his usual self, did not care since he always had sleepovers with Allie. So this was just going to be a huge sleepover just like they used to have. Beth may be a newcomer to the group, but she seems okay with the idea, so it should be no problem.
