Chapter 22: Chocolate Chip Pancakes And Revenge!
Ash was still talking to Eva about future stuff about the base and what to do to improve it. He also mentioned that she should make a floor where she could experiment with mana on different living things and see how they react. She could also analyze the items they get and see if she could replicate their properties for other weapons in the future. Imagine the currents and the fence protected by mana. It would be incredibly useful for the mansion to have that and it would greatly enhance its defensive capabilities.
Allie and Beth woke up next to each other and frowned at one another. They wanted to see Ash's face when they woke up not each other. Allie got up first and headed to the bathroom across the hall. Beth saw Ash sitting at the table playing with Mr Wiggles and talking with Eva and smiled. She got some stuff out to make breakfast, like eggs and bacon and some potatoes to cut up and roast potatoes.
"Ash you should have woken us up so we could make you some breakfast. You must be hungry and bored waiting for us. Let me just wash up a bit and me and Allie can make something to eat for the morning okay?"
Ash nodded and expressed his gratitude for the meal with a warm smile. Her heart melted when she saw his smile first thing in the morning. She felt like a housewife making food for her husband. This was going to be the happiest day of her life. She thanked her mom for teaching her how to be a good spouse and a good cook for Ash. She walked across the hall to another bathroom to wash up and look presentable for the day.
A few minutes later, both of them return to the staff room. They both had their hair done and their faces washed. He noticed that both of them didn't wear makeup like other girls. They must have natural beauty and don't need to wear makeup. He has only seen Allie put on make-up a couple of times when they were out to eat in public or visited somewhere fancy to eat and have fun. Both of them are very beautiful, but he only loves Allie.
"Alright, Ash Beth will make bacon, eggs and roasted potatoes while I cook your favourite pancakes. Sadly we don't have chocolate chips to put in the pancake batter so we can't make chocolate chip pancakes."
Ash pouted when he did not get chocolate chip pancakes. When Ash looked like he was about to cry a red portal opened up and dropped a bag of chocolate chips for the pancakes. Ash had a happy smile while Beth and Allie looked shocked. There was a note on the bag that said it was from Ash's sister. Allie was furious that Yandere bitch made Ash happy rather than her.
"My sister really loves me after all! I wonder if she can send me some gummy worms. If she really loves me then she knows which ones I like. Oh yeah, Allie and Beth thanks for making breakfast for me. I appreciate your delicious cooking."
As Ash mentioned his favourite gummy worms another portal appeared and out came a pack of sweet and sour gummy worms that he always ate. He smiled and looked around for his sister eating his gummy worms with a warm smile on his face. He really did not hate his sister for what he did since there was more to the story. He was not gonna pull a Sasuke and assume his older sibling is a monster. He will try and keep an open mind especially since his parents were wearing lab coats!
It is not a good idea to eat sweets before breakfast, Ash! That will ruin the rest of your meal and your teeth. Also, why are you eating stuff from your sister without thinking? You don't know what could be on it or if it was poisoned by lace with something!"
Another portal opened up near her and left a note in her hand. That says that Aura would never poison her brother and that she is a bitch for even thinking that she would do so. Allie looked at the note in her hand and froze it and crushed it in her hand leaving specks of snow and ice. She was tired of this stalker bullshit and just wanted to have some alone time with Ash.
"Don't worry Allie if my sister wanted to kill me she would have murdered me when she murdered my parents. Besides Aura would never poison my favourite food. After all, she knows I will kill her and show no mercy if someone messes with my food."
Ash stopped smiling and had a serious expression on his face as he looked at them. They both shivered in fear as they looked at his cold dead eyes and emotionless face. Then as if it was never there he started to have that same warm and goofy expression he always had. Allie remembered each time Ash was like that and it was terrifying. He was like a different person when he was truly angry or mad at something
You see Ash is always happy and that is because he makes people around him drop their guard. However, he always analyzes what you are doing even when it seems he is just playing or being himself. He looks at all your actions and predicts what you will do next. If he does not like what you do next, it will not end well for you. One side of Ash is a carefree child that wants endless adventure and the other half is a demon that uses you for his enjoyment.
He only cared about me and never got mad at me. Nevertheless, everyone else was fair game and he would make sure he had revenge no matter how comparatively small it was. However, when he gets revenge it is usually ten times worse. When I was being bullied by a few people in school the next day they were sent to the hospital with a few broken bones. However, no one found the cause of their injuries but I saw his eyes look at me with malice but love for me.
He only saw other people as toys for his enjoyment. The most horrible thing in the world is that when Ash is bored he will start to hurt people he does not care about for his enjoyment. The reason he also eats so many sweets is that he wants to distract himself from other things. This is so that he does not cause chaos when bored. One time a teacher took his sweets and the next day he was fired for news that he was sleeping with a student.
The ladies started to cook and clean the kitchen for breakfast. Beth made most of the food while Allie made the pancakes Ash always loved to eat. She wished she had some fresh fruit to whip up a fruit smoothie for them. She always tried to make Ash a balanced breakfast. In the fruit smoothie, she usually puts a tiny bit of vegetables to ensure Ash gets the necessary nutrients and diet he needs to keep in shape. He can still eat sweets whenever he wants.
Breakfast was amazing and they all had a nice time talking about some books they were reading and some games they still had. They were mostly talking to Beth about the Bunker since that is where they will be staying. Eva was going to send some resources to the cult every week to their old apartment complex. That way they could help the cult and have a large backer in the future. This is because they feel the government will do something stupid in the future.
"Well, I guess it is time to fight a giant snake again. This time I want it grilled with fries. Also, I hope we get some amazing treasure at the end of this hell hole."
