Chapter 5: Chapter 5

The sun hung high in the sky, casting golden rays through the tall windows of the Fairy Tail guild hall. Ryzen was sitting at a table with Gray enjoying their breakfast.

"Man, it's nice to have some peace and quiet" Gray remarked. " Natsu always so loud in the morning."

Ryzen chuckled, nodding in agreement. " Yeah, it's definitely nice and peaceful"

"Anyway hows the new place? I'm also thinking of moving out of the dorm as well. having a place of your own without needing to share sound so nice" Gray said while enjoying his food

Before Ryzen could respond, A loud cheerful sound could be heard approaching the guild.

Natsu stomped into the guild hall, clutching a large egg with a strange pattern. "Look what I found!" he exclaimed, holding it high above his head with a huge smile on his face. The egg was covered in intricate designs that seemed to shimmer in the light.

Ryzen, seeing Natsu, looked up and smirked. "Hey, Natsu, where'd you get that? It looks pretty tasty" he said, eyeing the egg.

Gray leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Yeah, it does. You know, I bet that would make a great omelet."

Ryzen chuckled. "Or we could mix it into some fried rice. Imagine the flavor!"

Natsu's face turned red with frustration. "No way! This isn't just any egg! It's a dragon egg, and I'm going to hatch it!" He hugged the egg protectively.

Gray rolled his eyes. "A dragon egg? Seriously? You're not planning on eating it?"

Ryzen's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Well, if you change your mind, Natsu, let me know. I can make a very tasty fried rice."

Natsu growled. "No! I'm taking it to Gramps. He'll know what to do." With that, he rushed off to find the guild master.

Makarov was sitting at the bar table, enjoying a drink, when Natsu burst in. "Gramps, I need your help! Hatch this dragon egg for me!"

Makarov raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Natsu, there's no magic in this world that can defile life. Life is born from love. No amount of magic can change that."

Natsu blinked in confusion. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Just help me gramps"

Makarov sighed again, deeper this time. Erza, who had just arrived, stepped in. "In other words, Natsu, you have to work your hardest to hatch it. All you do is destroy stuff anyway, so this is a good opportunity for you to learn about bringing something into the world."

Mira, who was also enjoying her breakfast heard Erza voice and got fired up. "Erza! So you're back! why don't we finish our last fight?" she challenged, her eyes gleaming with anger.

Erza smirked with a hint of rage. "Bring it on!you belly button shower!"

"What's that you stubborn wench!" said Mira as she kick Erza away

As the two strong women squared off, their attention solely on each other, Lisanna approached Natsu. "Hey, Natsu, how about I help you hatch the egg?" she offered with a kind smile.

Natsu's eyes lit up. "Really? You wanna help me? Thanks, Lisanna!" Together, they left the guild to discuss their plans.

Ryzen watched the scene unfold with a smile, sipping on his juice. "Ah, to be young, innocent and carefree. How I miss those days," he said wistfully.

Makarov, Gray and the rest who heard him, gave him a puzzled look. 'Aren't you just as young yourself?' They thought, shaking their head in unison.

Finishing his drink, Ryzen decided it was time to train. For months, he had been studying magic and training to control his power. Now, he planned to create his own magic. But before that he made his way to his home first to pack up.

-----

Ryzen stood in his small but cozy apartment , methodically packing his bag for an overnight training trip in the forest. He laid out his supplies on the bed . A sturdy tent, a thick sleeping bag, food, and a few magic items like fire charger and hot water maker. He doubled check everything, making sure he have all he need for a successful training session.

He paused for a moment before leaving. Glancing around his apartment. It wasn't much but it was his own space.

After leaving the male dorm where he had to share a room with Gray and Natsu. He found this place to be a sanctuary. The constant bickering and destruction made by the two no matter the time is too much even for him to handle.

"I just remembered that Gray was also talking about moving out of the dorm. The commotion made me forgot. Oh well, maybe i can help him house hunting after coming back" Said Ryzen as he lock his door making his way towards the city entrance.

"Natsu have also decided to move out not long after i did. He had found an abandoned home outside of town and move there. He asked me to help him clean up and i drag Gray along so he dont feel lonely. I guess living with people that have a huge age gap to you is awkward for Gray now. Maybe when gray move out i will drag natsu as well to help out" said Ryzen as he chuckled thinking about bringing them together and making them argue.

He don't mind the arguing and even find it kinda entertaining and fun to watch but when they argue for almost 24/7. The tiredness from not getting enough sleep eventually got to him.

------

In the serene solitude of the East Forest, Ryzen began preparing for his rigorous training. The area was quiet, except for the occasional rustling of leaves and the distant calls of some animals.

"Magic is the imagination of its creator," Ryzen mused as he walked while stretching his body, making his way towards a good camping site. "If others can create their own spells, why can't I?" He had taken to reading extensively, delving into the theories and histories of magic.

Despite his dislike for studying in his previous life, being transported into a world of magic had sparked a passion for research within him.

He had discovered that while most humans were born with a container to hold ether, he was slightly different. He could absorb as much ether as he wanted, converting it into a mix of magic and light energy in his body. He already conclude that the reason he was so good with light magic is because of this light ether that is pretty much tailored made for light related magics.

Ryzen was so glad that he immediately ate the light light fruit because he found out that he was unable to do other magic not because he was talentless but because he didn't have the ether container that the people of this world have. If he didn't have the Light fruit then he knew that he would just be an ordinary guy trying hard to survive in this dangerous world of magic.

However, this ether converging process can also took a toll on his body. Making him felt pressured and pain when he absorbed too much ether at a time. He concluded that by strengthening his body, he could increase his unique ether reserve, potentially never running out of magic.

Ryzen started with basic physical training. Despite his youthful appearance, his soul was that of an adult after all. So he utilized his previous life's knowledge to craft a comprehensive workout routine.

He began with push-ups, each one slow and deliberate to maximize muscle engagement. After several sets, he transitioned to sit-ups, focusing on his core strength. The routine was grueling, but Ryzen pushed through, sweat dripping from his brow."Strengthen the body to strengthen the magic!" he reminded himself.

Once his muscles were sufficiently warmed up, Ryzen moved on to agility training. He sprinted through the forest, weaving between trees and jumping over fallen logs. The uneven terrain provided an excellent challenge, forcing him to adapt quickly and maintain his balance. He imagined his body growing stronger with each step, his reflexes sharpening as he dodged low-hanging branches.

After an hour of intense physical training, Ryzen returned to the clearing, panting but invigorated. It was time to focus on his magical practice. He closed his eyes and centered himself, feeling the ether flow through his body.

Now, after months of research, he was ready to attempt his first original spell. He called it "Gate of Light" inspired by an anime character called Gilgamesh from his previous life.

Ryzen closed his eyes and concentrated. He imagined magic circles appearing around him. Slowly, circles of light formed in the air, creating ripples as they materialized. These ripples didn't connect to another dimension or anything like that. They were simply disturbances in the air made of light.

Swords and blades of light emerged from the ripples. With a swift motion, they shot towards a tree, leaving clean cuts in their wake. Ryzen's eyes widened with excitement. "Haha! I did it! Finally, after months of research," he exclaimed, though he was sweating profusely from the effort.

"This is harder than I thought," he admitted, "but with this light body, all types of light are under my control. Even light made of magic!" For the final step, tiny spots of light flowed out of his body, merging with the ripples. The light ripples became more violent. "Now, with the nourishment of my devil fruit light, let's see how strong it is!" The ripples began to shoot out weapons like a machine gun, obliterating everything in their path. Ryzen even aimed them at the ground to minimize damage, but the impact still created a large crater. Leaving him slightly surprised

Ryzen collapsed to his knees, exhausted but exhilarated. "I did it, although the amount of unique ether it consumed is absurd" he panted, a smile spreading across his face. "I've created my own magic!"As he lay on the cool grass, catching his breath, Ryzen reflected on his journey. He had come a long way since his arrival in this world.

"There's still so much to learn," he thought. "But I'm on the right path."

The night deepened, and the forest grew quieter. Ryzen knew he couldn't rest for long. He had to push his limits further if he wanted to reach his full potential. "Strengthening my body is just the beginning," he realized. "I need to explore new ways to use my magic, to integrate it seamlessly with my physical abilities."

With renewed determination, Ryzen stood up and resumed his training. He practiced the Gate of Light again after recovering some ether, this time focusing on different aspects.

He experimented with the size and shape of the magic circles, trying to increase their efficiency. He also worked on creating more complex light constructs, envisioning intricate weapons and tools. As dusk approached, Ryzen finally allowed himself to rest.

-----

The next day,

The satisfied Ryzen packed up, and made his way back to town.

Dropping his stuff in his room, He took a quick shower before making his way to the guild for some breakfast.

Upon reaching the guild, he heard a commotion inside. It was Natsu, questioning everyone about the whereabouts of his egg.

"Hey, Natsu, calm down," Ryzen said, stepping forward to stop him from picking fights. His right hand petting natsu head while his left hand in his pocket

Suddenly, a thought came to his mind."Now that I think about it, why do you pick fights with everyone except me?" Ryzen asked

Natsu shrugged. "You smell unique. It makes me not want to fight you. Anyway, that's not important. Mira, did you steal my egg?" he demanded, pinching Mira's face.

Mira would want to retaliate but she felt embarrassed to pick a fight with someone younger than her in front of Ryzen. Yesterday when she found out that ryzen was around when she was fighting Erza. She felt so ashamed just thinking about it.

Meanwhile, Ryzen stopped petting Natsu and thought, "Could Natsu be able to smell that I'm not human? After all, a devil fruit turns the user into whatever the fruit is, right? I've suspected for a while that this body of mine isn't human anymore. Am i a devil now?"

As Natsu continued interrogating everyone, Elfman stepped forward. "Umm, Natsu, you rolled around in your sleep and left the egg cold. I been warming it up. I'm sorry i didn't tell you beforehand"

Natsu smiled seeing the egg. " Really? Thanks a lot Elfman!"

Suddenly, cracks appeared in the egg. Even the usually aloof Laxus showed interest. The egg hatched, and a bright blue light flown up, revealing a blue-winged kitten. It landed on Natsu's head, and everyone was in awe of its cuteness.

The guild erupted in cheers. Everyone wants to take a look at this new cute creature. Ryzen also snapped out of his thought and join in to look

As the guild members gathered around Natsu and his new companion, Ryzen just smile seeing the happy face of everyone.
