Chapter 22: 22. The vassal

Lesarli was gazing out of the window. Looking down at Zorion and Lycaon, arguing over something. She focused on, to hear the conversation that was going on.

"It's been whole 2 days. I can't anymore." Lycaon said.

"Being the Lord of the North. You have to fulfill the duty." Zorion said.

"I did. I came here, stayed for a couple of days." Lycaon turned around to walk.

"We were supposed to accompany them for 4 days," Zorion said calmly.

Turning to face Zorion. "Well, the King can company the King." He said and climbed on his horse.

"Aren't the Lord is going to company the Lady," Zorion asked.

"Never in this life." He turned his horse and pulled the reins to accelerate it.

Exhaling in disbelief, Zorion called him. "If you are going, go to the east. The girls are delayed."

"I went their three days back. You know what I do with them." Lycaon looked at Zorion through his shoulder from the horse.

"Exactly why," Zorion said.
