Chapter 1: The Goddess of Mercy
Humans have been in distress for the past 100 years suffering from both diseases, poverty and hunger and all these were because of wars and the gods had neglected their duties to their worshipers. Yet, humans seem to not give up hope and continued praying to the gods for mercy and help.
The goddess of mercy, Guanyin felt compassionate towards them and decided to show herself in the form of a beautiful maiden. Goddess Guanyin helped the fishermen and distributed food to the poor. She helped the sick in refugee camps. Due to her divine nature she could heal the sick people and she could discern and see into the future. This way the refugees avoided being casualties of war anytime it took place.
A handsome doctor at the moment named Yang Wang admired Guanyin so much and he always tried to help in every way possible. He fell in love with her the first day he met her at the refugee camp and from then on he's been trying really hard to get her attention.
After a few years Yang Wang and Guanyin gave birth to their son but Guanyin had to go back to the Jade palace after a few years with her husband and son due to the fact that she was a goddess, the name of her son was Yang Xuan
