Chapter 40: The announcement

Clap! Clap!

Applause fills the room as Zachary and Elizabeth finish dancing.

They danced so well, the audience couldn't stop clapping.

Zachary, who always wore a cold expression, smiled subtly, causing the audience to clap even harder. 

"I didn't know you were such a good dancer, Zachary. You danced so well," Elizabeth said, walking side by side with him as they left the dance floor.

Zachary feigned a smile and said."There are many things you don't know about me, Miss Jackson. Same goes for me."

"Yeah, that's true. We didn't get to know each other better. Maybe we should go out some time," Elizabeth suggested.

Zachary replied, "I will check my schedule and get back to you soon." 

"Alright, the evening was lovely, all thanks to you, Zachary," Elizabeth added.

"The pleasure is all mine."
