After leaving the study, Zachary went to look for Henry, who was in the garden with his mother, Matilda, and wife, Susan, having a heated argument away from the party.

"No, mother, you just returned home, and it's dad's birthday banquet; I can't talk to him about the company."

Henry had a complicated expression on his face while glancing between his mother and Susan.

"How can you be so slow when it comes to things like this, Henry? Do you have any idea what's going through your father's mind right now? You have to make the first move!" Matilda Noble, an elderly woman in her sixties, said, glaring at her son with festering rage.

"Mother, there is nothing I can do to convince Father to make me the successor. It's his decision to make. Moreover, he's more pleased with Ethan than he is with me."
