Chapter 39: Turning Danger into Safety

Zoe Dawson paced anxiously, watching as the competition was about to start. Ava Sterling hadn't arrived yet, but fortunately, the design blueprints were with them. If they were still with Ava, all their efforts would have been in vain.

"I'll go outside and call the boss again," Harper Martinez announced, noting that there were only about 5 minutes left before the competition started and the designs had to be submitted. Without Ava Sterling, no one would be there to present their design concepts.

Zoe Dawson didn't stop her, watching as Harper stepped outside. Standing at the doorway, Zoe watched the crowd flow in and out, filling the venue.

At that moment, Iris Hart arrived with the team from Timeless Traditions Artistry. "Look who it is! If it isn't Ms. Dawson. Is Ms. Sterling too scared to show up today? Afraid to face the competition?" she taunted.
