"You can speak," Nathan said without looking up.
"Your company is hosting a competition recently, right? I think one of my company's newcomers would be a great fit, so I want him to participate."
Nathan looked up, furrowing his brow, and gave Ava a probing look. "So, you're asking me to give him an advantage?"
Ava quickly shook her head, laughing a bit. "Of course not. Even if you agreed, I wouldn't allow it. The person entering the competition is Thomas. You weren't fond of him before. But he works under me now, and he truly has talent. I can't bear to see him go unnoticed, so..."
Ava fell silent, but Nathan already understood her meaning. He paused briefly before returning to normal.
"If he's talented, then nurture him well. You handle this as you see fit; there's no need to inform me."
Hearing this, Ava felt a weight lift off her shoulders and asked joyfully, "So, you're okay with it?"
