While the two were talking and no one was paying attention to her, Ava slipped away unnoticed. She was utterly exhausted and didn't have the energy to continue dealing with them.

Once Ava left the hospital, she felt a moment of intense confusion, not knowing where to go. She picked up her phone and opened her contacts. Before she realized it, she had already dialed the number.

The familiar voice made Ava want to cry.

"Zoe..."

Hearing Ava's tone, Zoe, who had been lounging on the sofa watching TV, immediately sprang up, her voice filled with concern.

"Do you have time now? I want to come over..." Ava's voice was filled with a sense of grievance.

"Of course I do. Should I come pick you up? Send me your location?" Zoe sounded anxious.
