"I'm sorry... I can't tell you!" Harper Martinez clenched her teeth tightly, trembling as she hid in her room.

"Harper Martinez, you are my employee. Until you officially leave the company, it's my duty to ensure your safety. If you've stumbled upon something difficult to discuss, please tell me. Let me know how I can assist you," Ava Sterling recalling the possibility of an issue with Harper after realizing her unusual behavior. 

She instantly remembered the first time she met Harper Martinez, noticing the young girl's family seemed to have unresolved issues, and Harper herself appeared lacking in confidence in front of her.

Ava's first thought was that something must have happened within Harper's family. "Is there a problem at home?" Ava asked appropriately.
