Chapter 107: War (Part-7)

I glanced at Mia for a moment, then massaged my temples in frustration. "Are you dumb?" I exclaimed.

Mia, looking confused, asked, "Why?"

I confidently replied, "That snake will break out of the manhole and come out."

"Ohh, I get it," Mia exclaimed, understanding my plan.

Then, I called out, "All soldiers, come here!" Thirty soldiers gathered around me and my companions. Pointing to specific soldiers, I instructed, "You five stay here. The rest of you, go do your work."

Turning to the five soldiers, I told them, "You all will do a task for me." One soldier asked, "What, Sir?"

"Collect as many dead rats as possible," I ordered.

The soldier questioned, "But, Sir, why?"

"You'll see. Now, go," I commanded, and they left to carry out their task.

Next, I turned to Thomas and said, "Tell Marquise Shaun that we will be leaving in a few minutes."

"Okay, my lord," Thomas acknowledged before hurrying off.
