Chapter 102: War (Part-2)

"We have to find another way!" I exclaimed, my mind racing with possibilities. But as I scanned the surrounding buildings, I knew our options were limited.

With the sound of approaching footsteps growing louder, we had no choice but to act quickly. Without hesitation, I made a split-second decision, spotting a narrow gap between two buildings.

"Through here!" I shouted, gesturing towards the cramped passage. With no time to spare, we squeezed through the gap, our bodies scraping against the rough walls as we fought to keep moving.

"Hey, stop!" (Soldier)

Behind us, the soldiers closed in, their shouts echoing in the confined space. We ran as fast as our legs could carry us, the darkness of the alley swallowing us whole as we pushed forward with reckless abandon.

But just when it seemed we might escape, disaster struck. As we emerged from the alley, we found ourselves trapped in a small courtyard, surrounded on all sides by towering walls.
