My eyes widened as I peeked out to the tunnel entrance.

A massive black serpent lay coiled beside the stairs, its scales glistening in the dim light.

It resembled an anaconda but dwarfed it in size.

The creature slept peacefully, unaware of our presence.

"Cursed luck," I muttered under my breath, realizing the dire situation we were in.

I quickly relayed the information to my companions, and panic swept across their faces.

"We can't face that serpent with our current weapons. We need a plan," I said, attempting to maintain composure.

Mia's eyes widened in fear. "What do we do, my Lord? We're defenseless against such a creature!"
