Chapter 222: The Nightmare

"Is something bothering you, Renee?" asked Sam as he looked at her puffy eyes.

He was sure that she cried. But why? Today was a happy day. They were going to have the opening of their boutique.

A place where they had done so much hard work.

"I am fine. Have you checked everything twice?" she asked as she blinked her eyes while looking at the ceiling.

He wanted to ask more but shut her mouth when he looked at her eyes. She had always been so dominating and nodded his head.

"Are you..?"

"I said I am fine!" she repeated when he sighed and showed her the glittering invitation card.

"Fine. .then look at it. This is what I had designed for today. We are going to give this card and clothing as a welcome gift as your father had instructed us. Isn't it nice?" his whole face was glowing with joy.
