Chapter 37: Unofficial Disciple

"You expect Master to accept you after all that? Don't you have any shame?" The girl snapped when she saw Stell bowing and asking for her master's teachings.

Stell blushed as he knew the girl was right. He truly didn't deserve to be accepted. He had even rejected Master once, although he couldn't remember doing so.

Master looked silently at Stell before asking. "Is that how you ask a person to be your master?"

Stell displayed a puzzled expression before realizing that he was in a cultivation world.

Standing up from his chair, he approached Master and then fell to his knees. Placing his hands in front of him, Stell kowtowed.

After three kowtows, he looked hopefully at Master, only to realize that Master didn't say anything.

Gritting his teeth, he kowtowed six more times, bringing the total to nine kowtows. He didn't believe that the number was insufficient after that.

However, the Master still silently looked at Stell before sighing. "I can't accept you as my disciple."
