And true to his words, senior sister Lan appeared, descending from the sky.

Stell looked at her with thankful eyes as he redirected his gaze from the hateful fellow.

Imitating other disciples, he cupped his hands. "Junor brother greets senior sister."

As other disciples were looking at Stell in shock, Lan nodded as she turned to Gu with furrowed brows. "What did he do to you?"

Gu didn't even notice the way Stell addressed Lan as he looked at her with bloodshot eyes.

"He broke sect rules!" As he started explaining himself, Gu's confidence returned.

"How?" Lan's brows furrowed further as she looked strangely at Gu.

"He is an outer sect disciple who challenged me, an inner sect disciple, to an unfair match. If this isn't an act of insubordination and a breaking of sect rules, then I don't know what is." Gu smirked as he pointed at Stell.
