Chapter 44: [Bonus chapter] Second Lesson: Order

Master nodded at Stell's earnest curiosity, commenting. "Curiosity is good."

Stell felt happiness overwhelm him as that was the first time he was praised by Master, a supreme being of the Floating Cloud Sect.

Though he didn't know Master's exact position in the sect, Stell was certain that it was at least that of a core elder; otherwise, other elders wouldn't have shown such respect to Senior Sister Lan.

"What is your affinity?" Master asked.

"It's Earth. For now, only Earth." Stell answered with a lowered head, ashamed that he only had Common Rank affinity.

Master didn't seem to notice Stell's shame or even have any thoughts about Stell's affinity as he asked. "When you activate an ability, do you feel an energy flowing in a certain way before the ability is activated?"

"I do." Stell nodded.

"You should try and grasp that energy before concentrating it on the tip of a finger." Master explained as he raised his finger before he started painting in the air.
